July 23, 2015 at 11:38 pm in reply to: E-member needs to customize his own Password after Resetting it #70879Raymond NelsonMemberThank you very much.
Is there any way to change the E-mail that is sent to them to tell they can go to the profile page and change the random password to the password that they want?
Raymond NelsonMemberThank you
I am interested in a second license, I completed the contact form and am eagerly awaiting the appropriate person’s response.
Raymond NelsonMemberI used the license key when I installed my site on my remote server (hostgator). Now I am trying to use it to install the same site on my localhost (wampserver) as a testing environment. The activation on hostgator was successful. You are helping me with the activation on wampserver and it is yet to be successful.
December 30, 2011 at 10:33 am in reply to: WP PDF STAMPER fails to install on my local server #40045Raymond NelsonMemberYea!! I think I figured it out
The Curl Library is nothing more than a php extension. I learned that included in the Wampserver 2.2 interface is an option to examine the extensions that are activated and to activate or deactivate your choice of extensions. I was able to locate php_curl in this list of extentions and succedded in activating it.
Now when I run the Minimum Requirement Checker v1.0 the Summary indicates that the IonCube Decoder is Present with a big green check and the summary indicates that the
CURL Library is Present with a second big green check.
When I activate the plug-in a pop up box appears and indicates states:
WP PDF Stamper is almost ready. You must provide a valid License key here to fully activate it.
When I navigate the link and enter the License Key that was provided when I purchased the product. The following message appears.
License key is invalid!
Reached Maximum Allowable Domains!
I am not sure what to do now.
I am using my local machine as a testing server and hostgator as my remote server for the same website do I need another Licence for my localhost server??
Raymond NelsonMemberThank you
I will see if there is anybody on the wampserver forum or associated with wampserver who can help me.
Can the $25 installation service Tips & Tricks HQ offers install the software on my local machine. I am using my local machine as a testing server and hostgator as my remote server. PDF Stamper installed on the remote sever (hostgator) without any problem but I am having trouble on the getting it to install on the testing server (my machine). Can the Tips & Tricks HQ help me get my testing server online??
Raymond NelsonMemberThank you for informing me that the license key is the same.
You gave me a link to navigate to in order to find out how to install the curl library (http://forum.wampserver.com/read.php?2,43026). I did not understand the reference, it was quite vague.
The link led to the following exchange on the WampServer Forum

dood! that was easy! thxs so much man!
The question that I have is: What icon on what page of what site is v2lethal referring to when he states “yes u right click the icon go to – php extensions and tick the curl option”
It seems that there is an assumption that you would know which icon he is talking about. I don’t, therefore I am completely lost.
Thank you for taking the time to help a newbie like me.
Raymond NelsonMemberThank you for your help so far,
I was able to get help outside help and was successful in resolving my IonCube loader installation related issue. Now when I run the Minimum Requirement Checker v1.0 the Summary indicates that the IonCube Decoder is Present with a big green check.
On the other hand there is still a big red “X” next to the CURL Library Present Indicator.
When I activate the plug-in a pop up box appears and indicates states:
WP PDF Stamper is almost ready. You must provide a valid License key here to fully activate it.
When I navigate the link and enter the License Key that was provided when I purchased the product, the following message appears:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:wampwwwBest_Friend_TrainingLocalwp-contentpluginswp-pdf-stamperwp_pdf_stamp1.php on line 0
1) Could you please tell me how to install the CURL Library or send me somewhere where I can find out how to do this??
2) Is the License Key that was provided when I purchased the product still valid??
Thank you for all of your help
Raymond NelsonMemberNone of the big red “x”‘s disapppeared.
In the ioncube folder that was installed by window installer there was a “Loader Wizard PHP script” whose purpose is to provided help with installation. I was told to “Download and install the script into your web space, and then launch the script in your browser for guidance on installation and selection of the correct Loader package”.
I could not figure out how to install the script or how to get it into my webspace or how to launch it in my browser. Because I did not understand how to do this I could not use the loader wizard php script to run the script.
I then tried the manual method described in http://www.esoftscript.com/manual/install%20ioncube%20loader.pdf and it didn’t do a thing.
I still don’t know how to make either method work.
I don’t know how to run the “loader wizard php script” and don’t know what I did wrong using the manual method.
None of the big red “x”‘s went away.
Raymond NelsonMemberI am having a lot trouble installing the IonCube.
I went to http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php and saw that there were four different versions that I could download. I went to my php info page and founds out that needed version Windows VC9 (x86). I used the windows installer and installed the ioncube folder into C:wamp. In this loader package a Loader Wizard PHP script was provided to help with installation. I was told to “Download and install the script into your web space, and then launch the script in your browser for guidance on installation and selection of the correct Loader package”.
I don’t know how to download and install the script into my web space, and then launch the script in my browser.
Can you expain what this means and tell me how to do this??
I then tried to use the manual method that was explained in http://www.esoftscript.com/manual/install%20ioncube%20loader.pdf
I uzipped the ioncube file and installed it in C:wamp
I then went to my php.ini file and added at the bottom of the last line: zend_extension_ts = “C:wampioncubeioncube_loader_win_5.2.dll”
and restarted WAMP
This did not change anything and the big red “x”s did disappear
Please help some more??
Raymond NelsonMemberI downloaded the plugin, activiated, it and then went to the setting page and received the following information:
Summary
IonCube Decoder Present: a big red X
CURL Library Present: a big red X
PHP Version: 5.3.8
The big red X next to the IonCube Decoder Present label indicated to me that it wasn’t present.
I followed the directions on the page and went to http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php and downloaded Windows VC9 (x86) installer and saved it in C:ioncube. I have Windows 7, Sevice Pack 1, 64 bit as my OS. Is this the right Loader package.
How do I install the Decoder and library, and what do I do next??
Thank you
Raymond NelsonMemberStill having problems
I took the unzipped wp-pdf-stamper folder and placed it in the wp-content/plugin folder. Then I went to the Plugin page in the Dashboard, the plugin wp-pdf-stamper was there but not activated. When I activated it, it failed to install and a yellow diolog box popped up with the message.
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Now what do I do now??
Thank you
Raymond NelsonMemberHello,
You said:
“What did you use to do the upload? Usually, we recommend a manual upload with FTP in the binary transfer mode.”
I am not sure what any of that means.
This is the procedure a used to make my local server, make a database for WordPress, install WordPress 3.3 and then upload the plugins.
First I downloaded WampServer 2.2 from http://www.wampserver.com/en/ on to my Desktop.
I then installed WampServer 2.2 into the default directory c:wamp. I then defined Internet Explorer 9 to be my default browser for this server and then put Wampserver 2.2 online.
My Server Configuration is as follows:
Apache Version: 2.2.21
PHP Version: 5.3.8
MySQL Version: 5.5.16
Then I set up my password for MySQL server, was successfully able to open phpMyAdmin in http://localhost/phpmyadmin/.
Then using phpMyAdmin I set up a database called best_friend_training for WordPress to use.
I then navigated to http://www.wordpress.org and downloaded WordPress 3.3 opened the zip file and copied the archive. I then went to C:wampwww and created a new folder called Best_Friend_Training. I then pasted the WordPress archive into the new folder.
I then installed WordPress 3.3 on my local server. In my browser I navigated to http://localhost/Best_Friend_Training/wordpress/wp-admin/ and pushed enter. I was then prompted to create a configuration file. I did so. I entered the database name that I created in PhpMyAdmin, the username and password I created in MySQL, I left the database host as localhost and left the prefix as wp_. I pressed submit was prompted to enter a site title a username and a password, my E-mail and chose to leave the site searchable. I clicked install WordPress and successfully installed WordPress 3.3.
In my browser I then navigated to http://localhost/Best_Friend_Training/wordpressl/wp-admin/ and logged in with the user name and password created at the install. The dashboard for WordPress opened. I the clicked on the Plugins icon, pushed the add new button, selected upload from the menu so that I could install a plugin that was in .zip format. I browsed to the file where I had placed the purchased zip formatted files wp-affiliate-platform, wp-cart-for-digital-products, wp-eMember, and wp-pdf-stamper.
Wp-affiliate-platform, wp-cart-for-digital-products, wp-eMember all uploaded correctly and I was able to activate them. However when I tried to upload the wp-pdf-stamper, the upload failed and the following error message popped up:
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
How do upload wp-pdf-stamper into WordPress, when WordPress is installed on my localhost server??
Thank you for your time.
Raymond NelsonMemberThank you
Yes I did losd a fresh build.
Placing [wp_eMember_registration] resolved this solved the problem.
Any other things i should know because i did a freash build
Raymond NelsonMemberGreetings,
I navigated to the Registration page, pressed the edit button on the bottom of the page, went into the edit page mode of WordPress, clicked on the HTML tab and the only thing in the window was [wp_eMember_registration_form:end]. Thinking that the :end might be incorrect I removed it but then the registration page would not load and the remains of the short code appeared instead. Placing the correct code back in box made the registration page appear again but I still have the exact same problem. Any other possibilities?
I did not see any tags around the shortcode. Is there a possibility that they are hidden in The HTML veiw. If so how do I find them?
