Thanks. WP eStore still works fine with MailChimp and was working fine with MailPoet for nearly a year. It’s the MailPoet addon that all of a sudden stopped working. I’m guessing it may have something to do with one of the recent WordPress updates. I’m just going to move everything over to MailChimp.
PattyGaleMemberJust curious as to if you have a time frame for the JROX JAM addon? I’m going to be working on integration in the products and affiliate integration in the next few weeks.
PattyGaleMemberAn addon would be great! Thank you!
PattyGaleMemberAre there updated instructions for this?
The reason I ask is because I got to Step 2 and can not find the code:
function eStore_get_custom_field_value1() anywhere in the eStore_payment_submission.php file.
And I just saw in the Changelog that with Version 7 of WP eStore, there is simple integration with JROX JAM.
Thanks!
PattyGaleMemberThey are valid subscriptions, though as all those clients on the old domain are all active members on the new domain. I understand what you’re saying, but to try and explain to all those clients that the reason their subscription needs to be cancelled and reactivated because of a PayPal technical issue is not going to fly. Not the fault of WP eStore. Thanks for the explanation! I couldn’t find it anywhere in PayPal documentation.
PattyGaleMemberThank you and I totally agree! We don’t use GoDaddy shared hosting, either. (We actually have VPS hosting). The client already had hosting established with GoDaddy… so hopefully we can convince her to switch.
May 12, 2011 at 2:48 am in reply to: Shopping Carts that work well with WP-Estore + WP Affliate plugins #32291PattyGaleMemberI’ve used Zen Cart in the past and it is very cumbersome (and I’ve been in web development for 10 years). For the consumer, there are simply too many clicks they have to go through before they finally pay for their product.
The less clicks the better. We’ve switch our site to WP e-Store / Affiliate and are doing the same for our clients, too. It’s simple to launch and simple for the consumer.. one or two clicks and they’re at payment.
PattyGaleMemberWe’ll be adding the affiliate and membership modules shortly, so we’re really excited about seeing these all work together.
PattyGaleMemberHi Ivy,
I did receive it and sent you an email reply last night.
PattyGaleMemberThat didn’t work, either.
PattyGaleMemberYes, the .htaccess and .htpassword files are in the downloads directory.
I just manually generated an email with links and sent it to myself via the Admin Functions. I got the email, clicked on the links to download the files (in this particular product, there are 3 zips). Each zip file says 0 bytes.
Now what?
PattyGaleMemberJust curious as to how long it takes to get the update by email? I sent my request as soon as I posted my above reply.
Thanks!
Patty
PattyGaleMemberThanks so much! Understand about the PayPal issue. We’ve been going back and forth about that for a couple of months and finally decided that we’re going to send affiliates physical checks. We can grow faster with a 2 tier, yet didn’t want to have to worry about the PayPal issues.
I’ll request the update.
PattyGaleMemberThat would work, too!
PattyGaleMemberThanks so much, Ivy!
