Hi all!
I’m hoping someone can help. We are using WP Ecart for a client with GoDaddy hosting. We use this same cart with same setting (digital downloads) and on our site with our servers it works without a hitch.
On our client site, all of a sudden it stopped working on 9/9. We did a test purchase and the cart redirects to a download page, but all of a sudden, it stopped sending the client email and stopped sending the Product Notification of Sale email.
I can’t find anything different on any settings.
Is this a GoDaddy issue blocking the sending of these emails?
Godaddy’s shared hosting can be a real pain sometimes (I always recommend people to stay away from Godaddy’s hosting.. there are plenty of other good hosting providers out there). Do a bit of googling yourself and you will see what I mean.
Anyway, the easiest way to figure out what is going on is to run a transaction with debug enabled. This post will explain what to do:

Thank you and I totally agree! We don’t use GoDaddy shared hosting, either. (We actually have VPS hosting). The client already had hosting established with GoDaddy… so hopefully we can convince her to switch.
