Right. I had not done that. Been too long since I had to do anything to keep my site running. :))

    All working fine now.

    Thanks dlburkhart!

    Hi Key Master,

I updated to WP 4.0 this morning.

I received this on my dashboard when I logged in again

[Warning: array_search() [function.array-search]: Wrong datatype for second argument in ….]

Site seems to be working okay on the user end though. No time to test everything right now as I have to go out for the day.

I finally updated eStore and found that the trouble is that PayPal had changed something that required that I change a setting in my PayPal account.

Fortunately, you guys keeps the instructions current here:

WP eStore – Instant Digital Product Delivery on A Thank You Page

Just following that exactly solved the issue.

    Thanks!

Thank you Peter. That worked smoothly!

The links just stopped showing on the Thank You page. They just don’t appear.

I will try installing a fresh version as pointed out in your item 3.

    Thank you!

    StarCircleAcademy,

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me all of that data!

And yes, I would say it is of course a “him” except kind “hims” like you would make that a false generality.

    Key Master,

Fantabulous! I will look forward to the tutorial. You know I have learned to be uber careful about doing anything I don’t understand.

It is sort of freaky that the creeps are attempting to use my actual name to hack in. It’s like when my brand new stereo was stolen from my 1973 Green Ford Maverick. How dare they? Would have been kinder to leave the stereo and just taken the car.

    Cheers, Pam

    Separate topic on All-in-One-Security.

I can’t seem to get the domain look up to work.

I made a couple of screen prints but it wouldn’t let me put them in here.

I will send to Key Master in an email.

Not a big deal just thought you would be interested.

    Cheers,Pam

    Hi Guys,

The new cookie feature looks fantastic. There is something I don’t understand about it and am afraid to turn it on as I don’t know the effect. So I wanted to check.

My understanding is that I will have a new login URL and my uber secret password. This will put a cookie on whatever computer I try to access on…like if I go to visit Mom…I can access there? I have more than one computer I use in my own home too.

Funny, to watch the creeps try to get more creative. Lately I found they must have looked at my site and found my personal name on my free download (I guess) and then tried using that! I changed my WP user name but they keep trying.

Thanks again for the security and help!

BTW, I did look at other posts on this and at emember_auth_utils. Can’t seem to find it in there.

Perhaps it’s not just a simple edit. No big deal if I can’t change it…just a picky tweak for aesthetic reasons.

    Hi,

Was wondering if you can direct me on whether this is a problem for me ranking-wise also.

My URLs are consistent as you described above.

But, I have [http://booksbypam.com] set up everywhere except in my Google analytics account where it is [http://www.booksbypam.com]

Reluctant to pursue changing it as I don’t know the affect on my site. booksbypam.com traffic is showing up in analytics under [www.booksbypam.com] Never saw it as a problem before and don’t really know if it is now.

    Thank you, Pam

    Thank you Ruhul.

I was doing fine without it so it’s okay! Just got excited when I discovered the feature.

The ability to save the cart looks very professional but I can’t see asking the customer to save and retrieve the number somewhere.

For Christmas I would love a cart id that goes something like “my cart 1” to “my cart 10” and just starts over after that.

Or just one saved cart would do. I would think that would be plenty per customer… Of course, I don’t know anything about how this gets implemented so I just dream with no thought of the work involved.

    Pam :)

Oh geez! Did that seem unfriendly? I didn’t mean it too be! But on re-reading myself it seems so. Sorry for my lack of professionalism there.

    I have to edit better!

    Cheers, Pam

Nice feature. Just want to know how the customer is supposed to remember their cart code. There must be a way to change it that I don’t see.

My first test cart code is 51c2bb5a5ec97.

I would never be able to recall that code, let alone enter it later without typos!

    Thanks!
