Tagged: eStore update
Hi TTQ,
Getting ready to install the latest version of eStore. I have a question about whether I need to unzip before uploading. I am using method 2 per
[http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wordpress-estore-installation-and-usage-guide-31]
On the fresh installation steps it says to…
Unzip and Upload the folder wp-cart-for-digital-products to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
But on the accompanying video an zipped file is uploaded.
Which should I do?
Not being nitpicky about the instructions…just careful when making a change.
Thanks! Pam
Method 2 is highly recommended – ie, Uploading the “zipped” file via the WordPress administration panel.
Otherwise if you choose to unzip, you would have to FTP the files onto your host first and then activate the plugin from the admin panel.
Thank you Peter. That worked smoothly!
