Thanks, that works great. If it helps anyone else, what I’ve done is blocked digital downloads to countries in the EU Union, but offered the same product burned to a cd so they can still purchase the download but it gets shipped to them on a cd. Feels like a step backwards in time but it seems to be the best solution for me for the time being.

Blocking digital products would be perfect, or at least as perfect as it can be considering the whole messy scenario (sigh) Thanks.

So as I understand it, the country blocking plugin blocks countries on a sitewide basis but is it possible to block countries per product or category? For example, block sales of digital products to certain countries but allow sales of physical products to those same countries?

    Thanks for your efforts.

I would love this option also. Thanks.

Thanks – the update works fine – the message has now disappeared.

    1. I followed these instructions

    2. I changed the settings as explained in the instructions above.

Also I captured the code for the page when it happened, but I can’t make any sense of it. Not sure how to attach it here if you need it.

This has nothing to do with bad html code being entered by users because they can’t even use the page. This is how the page looks when you click on the forum link.

No this isn’t happening every time, only sometimes.

Yes I’m using sitewide lockdown and the problem began on the same day as I updated to the latest version of the plugin. Everything was ok prior to this.

Thanks but this link doesn’t explain how to replace the “Authentication Required” page – it only explains how to customize text messages.

I need to replace the whole page or somehow redirect it to another page – it’s too aggressive in it’s message. How do I do this?

Sitewide protection works for me, however is there a way to replace the “Authentication Required” page. I’d like to replace it with my own message. Thanks.

Thank you – the sitewide protection option looks like just what I need.

Ok, I figured out what is happening. I have a bookmark on my desktop to log into my admin section that I just realized is set to [http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin] which used to redirect me to the login page. Once emember was installed, this url no longer redirects to the login page and instead redirects to the homepage so I was going around in circles looking for the login page. I realize that I now have to use [http://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php] to login. My bad.

Not sure if this has something to do with it, but I’m also using buddypress.
