I’ve just installed the eMember plugin and everything seems to work ok until I try to import wp users. I keep locking myself out of the admin and can’t log back in. I’m sure it’s something simple that I’ve overlooked but I can’t seem to find any documentation that explains how to set up the admin account properly or import users. Can you point me in the right direction to find some answers? Thanks.
Not sure if this has something to do with it, but I’m also using buddypress.
Are you importing your WP Admin user into a special membership level where the “Role” is set to “Admin”? If you import it to a membership level that has a role of say “Subscriber”, you will have this issue.
Ok, I figured out what is happening. I have a bookmark on my desktop to log into my admin section that I just realized is set to [http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin] which used to redirect me to the login page. Once emember was installed, this url no longer redirects to the login page and instead redirects to the homepage so I was going around in circles looking for the login page. I realize that I now have to use [http://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php] to login. My bad.
hi,
I installed properly eMembers, then went on to “eMember Admin Dashboard Access Permission” and now I can not get in on the “WP eMembers – Dashboard”.
I will mention that I did not import WP users in eMembers.
I tried eMembers reinstall again but can not access the Dashboard.
What do I do?
If you log into WordPress (site/wp-admin) using an admin account; can you access eMember?
