I recently updated the wpeMember plugin to v7.9.2 and on the same day I updated I had a report from one of my members that there was a problem with my forum page displaying in a weird way. I wasn’t able to reproduce the problem at that time, however it also just happened to me so I was able to see first hand what was occurring. At the time the problem occurred I was unable to access wp-admin and I kept getting redirected to the home page. Once I logged out and then logged back in everything appeared to be normal.
This is a screenshot of what the forum should look like

I use simple-press forum and it has been working fine since I first installed wp-eMember, however I upgraded wp-eMember because of problems using the sitewide lockdown and the registration link being broken, as explained here
and the same day I updated the first report was made of the page display problem.
This appears to be an intermittent problem. Can you offer any suggestions for fixing?
Thanks
May 3, 2012 at 11:00 pm #44721adminKeymasterIt looks like there are some bad HTML code on the page that is rendering incorrectly. If all the HTML tags are terminated correctly then it can mess up the page rendering. Can your users enter HTML code in your forum?
Do you see that issue on the same page everytime when it does appear? Are you using the sitewide lockdown feature?
May 4, 2012 at 4:48 pm #44722ozgirl57SpectatorThis has nothing to do with bad html code being entered by users because they can’t even use the page. This is how the page looks when you click on the forum link.
No this isn’t happening every time, only sometimes.
Yes I’m using sitewide lockdown and the problem began on the same day as I updated to the latest version of the plugin. Everything was ok prior to this.
