I’ve got the same issue with a new build from 2 days ago despite 2 installs.

The paypal button doesn`t redirect to checkout and does nothing, i’ve rolled back to an older version to get it to work. I’ll try this new update.

I don’t know if your zips are large but i had the same issues until i moved the downloads to the Amazon s3 service as it seems shared hosting can’t cope and moving the downloads to s3 solved all my problems.

I had this problem too and to get around it i just created new products with shipping variation prices included and displayed and nobody has ordered anything by mistake.

Great you have that protection thanks .It just seems odd for someone to pay for something that should be instant.

I just added a little text widget beneath the plugin in the sidebar so no one can miss it

Ahh i see.On my website cart there is a dropdown box that says paypal or manual,i enabled this option in estore thinking it meant paypal as well oops!.

just tried that and all i get with the manual box is a name and address collect form.

So no payment is made.

I thought the customers were picking paypal then entering credit card details -which works.

Ok, where can i put text that says next to cart no paypal account needed?

All working now!,and my hair is growing back in lol.

I used the smtp plugin which has sorted emails and Amazon is even handling the large downloads fine.

I just test bought an album,one link was bad,rest were fine.Server wasntinstant` on some links however,4-5 seconds before one would start.

Last question -It would be easier to zip up the whole album although it`d be an 180mb zip,

since amazon is hosting,would that be ok without risk of corruption from my host?

and didn`t receive an email with links either!

Created links are working fine,although there is a pause for some seconds before download starts

Thanks,yeh im ahead of you already signed up and uploaded the tracks.I cant risk losing customers because of shared server overloads etc so i`ll give this a try.

Ive read your documentation,not quite sure how to order the links,permissions and whether i can testdownload` them using the estore admin panel.

I had it working perfectly fine last night with do not convertand method 6 buying them myself and yet today i had to troubleshoot and disable w3 total cache and move to method 2.I host the zip files for each track on my other main site http://www.offworldrecordings.com toease` the load.

Although you mentioned elsewhere not to use zips this is the best format as mac users only get the mp3s streamed rather than downloaded (which they have to set in their own browser).

I split the sites up it was just easier that way from a design point.

Ive just created download links which work ok,but take about 5 seconds to start,ive asked the previous customer exactly what his errors were.

I just noticed the caching plugin was enabled on .com which i have disabled too.

Do you have any suggestions

Yes i did that.I`ve disabled the plugin and still having issues.

I thought i`d fixed it about 4 hours but just had another customer said the downloads failed.
