eStore – Checkout is not working

Hi, I have tried a clean build of my estore after many problems but after re-entering all my content I now find that clicking on the checkout button does nothing. No pop ups, no nothing.

I have deactivated all plugins except WP estore and still not working.

I have checked all settings over and over again without result.

WordPress is version:

WordPress 3.4.1

eStore is Version v6.8.0

Installation was via FTP

Hi, There may be a possible issue with the latest build on some installations. We are currently looking into what combination of setup causes this anomaly.

We will update you as soon as we figure out the issue.

@muzza, There was an issue with the new build when you do not use the Terms and conditions option. I have just updated the plugin so if you get a new build now (v6.8.1) you should be fine. Please try it now and let me know how you go. Sorry for the trouble.

I have reloaded the update through FTP and 6.8.1 is now installed.

The paypal button seems to be working now.

I’ve got the same issue with a new build from 2 days ago despite 2 installs.

The paypal button doesn`t redirect to checkout and does nothing, i’ve rolled back to an older version to get it to work. I’ll try this new update.

Hi there

I have a problem with our wp eStore. I recently upgraded wp-eStore to the current version 7.9.1 ..

When our online store page at:

.. is used on high resolution tablet or a normal windows desktop PC, everything is fine. However, on a mobile phone (rather than a high resolution tablet or a normal windows desktop PC), the Checkout button doesn’t work. It literally won’t bring up the usual message window that takes you into the PayPal payment gateway. It sits there doing nothing!

I have tested this on Chrome and Firefox on a couple of Android mobile phones, and literally nothing happens when you press the checkout button. Do you know why this could be ?

We are on wordpress 4.2.2 and run the Prophoto 5 theme.

@rosspdavis, Do you have “Fancy Redirection” enabled in the eStore settings? If so please disable that option and see how it goes.
