Hi,purchasing products have been working fine but yesterday i noticed estore sending out a couple of mails saying
thanks for purchase
,but no record of purchase is in paypal(no payments pending either). So i mailed 2 people and both said when they tried to manually checkout in the cart
“I clicked “Purchase manually” and filled in the shipping details, but when I clicked “Confirm Order” it just went through without ever giving me any kind of payment options.”.
Redirection to site for mainly downloads is on in my store.
I noticed paypal has also changed its look payment side today.
To test i made a cd purchase manually of my own product and it went through fine.
The only thing i changed yesterday in paypal is
limit
(i am already a business customer but it seems it has limits on how much you receive each year so i reset it to which it asked for confirmed details). There seems to be lots of new options now in paypal.I hope they haven`t made anything clash with estore.
Any idea what is going wrong? it was all working fine.Setting the shop paypal only would mean i lose out on sales.

If you choose PayPal from the shopping cart (not selecting the manual checkout option) that’s when you go to PayPal. So basically, your customer has the option to checkout via PayPal or manual checkout (manual bank transfer or cash).

paypal
ormanual
,i enabled this option in estore thinking it meant paypal as well oops!.just tried that and all i get with the manual box is a name and address collect form.
So no payment is made.
I thought the customers were picking paypal then entering credit card details -which works.
Ok, where can i put text that says next to cart
no paypal account needed
?Cheers

On your checkout page you add your instruction or message and then place the shortcode to display the cart. For example: you can take a look at our checkout page and see that we have some info about our checkout steps first then the shopping cart:

Thanks!
