There is some logic here that my brain just doesn’t seem to get, so sorry to bother you again.
OK, so I’ve installed the newest versions of WP-eStore and WP-PDF Stamper. I can get the squeeze form to redirect to the manual download page when I set that as a Return URL in the “Buy Now or Subscription Type Button Spesific Settings”
I thought it should go there when I set this as “Button Redirect Traget URL” under “Additional Product details” for the product, but that doesn’t happen.
The e-mail that is sent to the customer leads to a stamped and password protected file. So the Squeeze form is doing its job.
But when I redirect customers via the the Return URL in the “Buy Now or Subscription Type Button Spesific Settings”, there are problems.
I used both these codes on the Thank You page where the download link is displayed:
[wp_eStore_download_now_button id=5]
[wp_eStore_display_transaction_result]
This is obviously wrong since the first one generates a link that leads to a non-protected file, and the second one shows no link at all. But what code should I use? I’m sorry that I don’t get the logic here. I would really, really want to.
I’ve removed the redirection from the squeeze page for now.

Did you forget to include the download link for the fresh copy of the plug-in?

Yes, I’m using the Sqeeze Form for now because I couldn’t get the Manual Check-out to work… I’ve tried following the instructions on the page you linked to, but still no luck. The customers are not redirected – they arrive at the PayPal page.
Yes, “Redirect to Manual Checkout For Zero Amount Purchase” is checked.
Also, the form they will have to fill out has way too many required fields, and the layout is messed up, with fields covering each other.

leirpollMemberOK, so after another 30 minutes, I received the e-mail with the download link. Deactivated, uploaded new files and reactivated. Everything seems to work fine now.
leirpollMemberOK, so I filled in the update request form, and got a “Success” message saying that an e-mail has been sent to me. But after a couple of hours, I still haven’t received the e-mail.
What now? I really, really need that update file!
leirpollMemberThanks. Will try that. But I think finding this setting should be made (much) more intuitive…
I would never have guessed that I would find the confirmation text for free items under languages, when the confirmation text for purchased items is staring me in the face in the place right where I expected it to be. Why so different places?
Maybe change this in a new update?

leirpollMemberSorry – my bad. Messed up the URL to the source file. Now it works!
leirpollMemberI have the PDF stamper and the WP eStore. I get the Squeezer page to work – meaning I get them to send an e-mail with a download link. But the link is dead, and the user gets this message: “Download file cannot be found. Please let us know. Thank you!”
When trying to manually stamp a PDF, I get this message: “An error occurred while trying to stamp the file! Message: Cannot open ! Error Code: 1”
Of course, there is no stamped file, so that’s why the error code for the user is generated.
The PDF file already has a top text. Could that cause a problem like this?
