Confirmation e-mail cannot be updated/changed

I have successfully stamped a PDF file, and gotten LOTS of traffic to my blog by offering a free chapter form my upcoming book (via Squeeze Page).

Great – but there’s still one problem: I have changed the settings for the conformation e-mail, adding info about the e-mail address being the password, etc. BUT THE CHANGES DO NOT SHOW UP IN CONFIRMATION E-MAILS!!!

So all the info the “buyer” gets is what’s copied below.

How can I change the confirmation e-mail so the changes really DO appear in the confirmation mail?

FYI: I’m using both the PDF Stamper and the eStore plug-ins.

The email from the squeeze page form do not take the value from the “Buyer Email” settings field (this field is only used for after purchase emails).

You can customize the squeeze page for email from the language file. This post will explain more:

Simply search for the following line in the language file and customize the text:

Thanks. Will try that. But I think finding this setting should be made (much) more intuitive…

I would never have guessed that I would find the confirmation text for free items under languages, when the confirmation text for purchased items is staring me in the face in the place right where I expected it to be. Why so different places?

Maybe change this in a new update?
