Hello – I keep getting this error from my subscription button:
The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again.
I am on this page: [http://www.takeactionsocialmedia.com/register-now/]
I am using this shortcode for the 2nd item there which is a 2-payment option I’ve set up as a subscription, pay 1 now and 1 15 days from now (if I did it right!)
[wp_eStore_subscribe_fancy id=2 style=1 show_price=1]
What could be the problem?
June 13, 2011 at 1:26 am #33299amin007ParticipantThis usually means that you have specified a value in the subscription section of the product that PayPal is not liking. If I can take a look at the button I should be able to tell you what is wrong but when I go to this page I don’t see any subscription button (I only see add to cart buttons):

Can you please tell me what values you have in the “Subscription/Recurring Payment” section of this product?
June 15, 2011 at 8:56 pm #33300Karen ClarkMemberI am sorry, I took it off and made it a regular add to cart item, and will charge the 2nd payments manually. But if I wanted to change it back, I am not sure how. The price was set to 137.00. I can’t recall what I had in the lower Subscription/Recurring Payment section but I was trying to get it charge $137 now at the time of purchase and $137 15 days later. If you could let me know the correct settings for that I can try again. I am launching this Thursday so I panicked and just took it off. Thanks!
PS: Should there be 0.00 in the price and then $137 below with 2 occurances? Maybe I did it wrong. Thanks!
June 16, 2011 at 1:39 am #33301amin007ParticipantThe following values in the subscription area should do (when using a subsription button the value in the “Price” field does not matter… you can use this field to explain what will be charged in the subscription):
Trial Billing Amount: 137
Trial Billing Period: 15 Day
Recurring Billing Amount: 137
Recurring Billing Cycle: 1 Day
Recurring Billing Count: -1 (this basically tells the plugin to charge this amount once rather than on a recurring basis… this is explained in the help text below that field).
June 6, 2015 at 3:10 am #33302avfc13MemberI’m having this same issue. Getting the invalid error notice on paypal.
June 6, 2015 at 11:04 pm #33303adminKeymasterThat means you have mis-configured the subscription values in the eStore product.
What values have you entered in the subscription settings of the product? Share a link to the page where you put this subscription button so we can inspect it.
Did you watch the video tutorial from our subscription button creation documentation?

Do I need to have WPe Store to make WP eMember work? Sorry, I’m new to the subscription thing and also to your products.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

June 7, 2015 at 11:25 pm #33305adminKeymasterNope, you don’t need eStore to use eMember. You can directly create your subscription button via your PayPal account. The following documentation explains how to integrate eMember with direct PayPal button (subscription or buy now buttons):
I just checked your subscription button and it worked fine for me (I din’t get any error).
June 8, 2015 at 1:46 am #33306avfc13MemberOnce I get to paypal, and fill in my paypal credentials, it kicks back an error.
“The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again.”
It’s very bizarre.

June 8, 2015 at 11:39 pm #33307adminKeymasterOkay thats a PayPal issue with your account. You need to contact PayPal support and tell them that you get an error on the PayPal checkout page AFTER you log into the account to Pay. They will be able to look into your account details and correct it.
