Hello – I’ve read and re-read all the previous Mailchimp threads and believe my settings are correct on both ends but I am not sure. The Mailchimp subscribes on a squeeze page form but NOT on a regular product purchase. I am testing via a “free call” I am offering as a product in my cart:

The customers are listed in the manage customers list, and we both receive confirmation emails from the estore system, but nothing is happening on the Mailchimp side. I have the login information correct, and have the lists set on a per-product basis. Help! Thanks!
June 17, 2011 at 5:45 am #33490Karen ClarkMemberMore info – I decided to add a fake $1 test product in there to test the payments etc. and voila Mailchimp works with a PAID product but not with a $0.00 product. I was trying to not use the ‘squeeze page’ form because I want this to be a cart item, collecting similar info, and same appearance as the other cart items. Does Mailchimp signups not work with 0 priced items? Any way around this or is it another issue?

So now I am assuming that since the $0.00 priced item I’m trying to get to work ALSO uses the Manual method, that is why. Could it be because there is no confirmation of payment? The price is 0. I do not want to use a squeeze page form since this is a live teleclass that I am offering free, not a download. Thanks.

Read both my posts on that page (the 2nd posts has a list of most common mistakes people make).

I had first and last name as required fields for the emember registration form on my site. My autoresponder was not working either. Then I made last name optional and now it works. Your MailChimp specific instructions say that we should use ‘name’ and ’email’ only as required fields.
