The wordpress installation for this site isn’t on the root it’s in a sub-directory. Is that causing the problem or can wordpress still run as the root user from a sub-directory?
My hosting provider keeps telling me that they can’t find a problem and can’t replicate the issue. What specific instructions can I give them to fix this?
Thanks for your help!

“Anyway, there is definitely some issue around the *setting of default file permission” on this server so I would recommend you take care of those.”
Thanks
kairosMemberError! Message: Cannot open /home/users/web/b1231/myserver/wordpress-installation-folder/wordpress-installation-folder/wp-content/uploads/pdf-stamper-sample-ebook.pdf ! Error Code: 1
After installing and activating PDF Stamper I get the above message when attempting a manual test stamp. The url for the pdf i’m using is correct because I’m able to view it in a browser, but it doesn’t match the location listed in the error above. The url above is listing the folder that houses the wordpress installation for this site twice and it doesn’t appear that way in my file directory. I.e., the error message above says:
/wordpress-installation-folder/wordpress-installation-folder/wp-content/uploads/pdf-stamper-sample-ebook.pdf
When the actual file path is:
/wordpress-installation-folder/wp-content/uploads/pdf-stamper-sample-ebook.pdf

Is it possible i entered the wrong URL or did those files not get created when the plugin was installed?
kairosMemberI disabled every plugin but estore – same error message.
Previously, I was loosing the items in the cart when I would navigate to another page. I called my hosting provider (fat cow) and they confirmed the session code but noticed I was missing a /tmp folder to store values, so they added the following folder
root/cgi-bin/tmp
However, when I look in this folder it says “no files”. Should there be files in it? Could it be a permission problem?
kairosMemberI’m getting the “Either your shopping cart is empty or the PHP Session on your server is not working correctly.” error when I click the Check Out With PayPal button.
I don’t think it’s PHP related because the cart seems to be keeping the products when they are added to it, it’s just not going through to Paypal. Therefore, I wondering if it’s a server setup issue.
My wordpress general settings are:
Wordpress Address (URL) [http://www.handwriteforcash.com]
Site Address (URL) [http://www.handwriteforcash.com]
Also, I have a single hosting account with multiple domains and each site has its own wordpress installation. I have the handwriteforcash.com domain pointing to the kairosventuregroup.com/handwriteforcash/ folder where the wordpress files for this site are stored. kairosventuregroup.com is the root.
Do you see a problem?
kairosMemberIssue Resolved!
Thanks!
kairosMemberIt seems to work just fine when I put the cart on the same page as the Add To Cart button. But, when I put the cart on a different page and enable Auto Redirection to Checkout Page it displays the message “your cart is empty”. I can put the cart on a different page than the button, right?
The add to cart button is on [www.handwrite-4-cash.com]
Note: The estore button is your standard add to cart button in the middle of the page, not the orange one in the sidebar.
Thanks,
Ray
