I disabled Quick Cache and it worked. Is there any cache plugin that you recommend that could work in harmony with WP eMember?
Thanks,
Julio
jfoppoliMemberHi, I am getting the same error, just that this is NOT with new users but with current customers and I get: Security check failed on login

October 17, 2012 at 3:54 am in reply to: eMember – Is is possible to bulk send the confirmation links to those who forgot #50319jfoppoliMemberHey, quick question.
Today I upgaded my version of WP eMember and when I was setting it up, I saw something for bulk mailing, similar to what we discussed above. Have you added that feature?!!!! I did send my list an email to activate their accounts like that. It seems you added it right?!!!!! Or is it something different and I am getting the wrong idea?!

I will definitely ask them. Another quick question. When people sign up to my WP eMember account, after i set it up to add the user to my Aweber account, do they still need to confirm their subscription on Aweber or they are added automatically?
Thanks again,
Julio
jfoppoliMemberThanks so much for your reply Peter. Question, do you know if there is a way to limit the number of “free” registrations, so that if I did what you suggested, when we reach an X number of sign ups, it would automatically restrict adding more users?
Thanks,
Julio
jfoppoliMemberI am interested in the same feature. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks
jfoppoliMemberHi,
I am having the same problem. After signing up from a different account, I got the following message:
Dear Julio.
Thank you for joining us!
Please complete your registration by visiting the following link:
?member_id=9&code=848df0d2d63c482e754ece0b1408aa33
Thank You
As you can see there is no link. I went to PAGES / FORM SETTINGS but I cannot find where to add any other information. In REGISTRATION PAGE (Mandatory) I have the address of my sales page and in Membership Payment/Join Page (Mandatory): I have the address of another sales page similar to the other one. Those seem to be working fine and I do not think they should be the pages where the user creates their username.
There are a lot of optional pages which I assume should not be the ones causing the problem. Could you let me know what is wrong? THanks,
Julio
June 5, 2012 at 2:03 am in reply to: Adding custom html to the message displayed on protected content #33788jfoppoliMemberSo how could I edit the .eng.php file to show that block of message instead of just
“You don-t have permission to see this content”?
June 5, 2012 at 1:27 am in reply to: Adding custom html to the message displayed on protected content #33786jfoppoliMemberHi,
I would like to customize the message in exactly the same way as AnnB did. Read this:
And I can actually change the text, but I notice she also managed to add links there to login and even subscribe, so it was not just a change of text.
Here is what she did:
I cannot figure out how to do this. Could you help me out, please?
Thanks,
Julio
jfoppoliMemberThanks so much Admin! That did it!
jfoppoliMemberFor some reason it is not working. This is what I wrote:
This part should be available to everyone:
The content below is exclusive for the Premium Membership. If you cannot see anything it is because your current membership does not enable to access this exclusive material. Click here to upgrade your membership now!
[emember_protected for=4-5]
Here I typed some content that I dont wnat them to see. For some reason, some links dont work when I use this protection, like the show the shortcodes rather than what they should be showing
[/emember_protected]
The problem is, All I see is that the content is protected.
Level 3 is Standard, they should only see the message at the top of the page.
Levels 4 and 5 should be able to see the protected content. I am clueless. It worked well for a couple of times and now it is messed up again.
Julio
jfoppoliMemberHi, after trying several keywords I found this post that helped me solve part of the puzzle:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/membership-upgrades#post-28433
It enables me to show one part and protect the rest of the document. Do you know if once logged in with the appropriate membership, I could hide the part prompting you to upgrade?
Thanks,
Julio
jfoppoliMemberI was checking… When I am NOT logged in at all, in all pages I see the message:
Please Login to view this Content. (Not a member? Join Today!)
However, If I am logged in with a Standard Membership and try to access a Premium Membership content, I get the message:
You do not have permission to view this content.
What I am trying to figure out is how to change it in such a way that it would give users the possibility of upgrading to see that content.
