Hi,
When I register a new eMember user there comes the message “Security check failed on registration”. I don’t really know where this comes from, because it worked before.
The eMember_debug.log gives me this message:
SUCCESS :Registration nonce check failed
I have WP 3.4.2, eMember v8.1.4 and WP Super Cache 1.1 installed.
By the way, both important WP Super Cache settings “Don’t cache pages for known users” and “Late init” are activated.
I hope you can help me, cause really don’t know what’s wrong here.
Perry
October 3, 2012 at 11:50 pm #49986PeterMemberThe login nonce check value is failing (its a security check in the plugin).
As a first step can you please load fresh version of the eMember plugin as per this link:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Then see if that fixes the issue.
October 20, 2012 at 4:39 pm #49987jfoppoliMemberHi, I am getting the same error, just that this is NOT with new users but with current customers and I get: Security check failed on login
October 20, 2012 at 4:43 pm #49988jfoppoliMemberI disabled Quick Cache and it worked. Is there any cache plugin that you recommend that could work in harmony with WP eMember?
Thanks,
Julio
October 21, 2012 at 1:21 am #49989PeterMemberYou can try W3 Total cache or WP Super Cache.
The following links will explain how you can tweak these to work in harmony with eMember:

October 21, 2012 at 1:39 pm #49991jfoppoliMemberI just found out that wpEmember also protects files! Man you can’t NOT love this plugin! I was going crazy with download-protect plugin, as it worked like a charm in one of my sites and on the other it just doesn’t. WPeMemeber saved my life!
Quick question. I set up W3 Total Cache and the server performance seems to be so much better! I noticed something though, but it is small. After I log in, when I am redirected to the main page, I still get the message that I have to sign in to view content. When I click on it I can see the content. Any ideas how I could avoid this?
Thanks again!
Julio
October 22, 2012 at 2:24 am #49992jfoppoliMemberI don’t know if this is a problem of using the cache or cookies, but for instance when a user goes to my site, they click on content that is protected and they get the message to login or sign up. If they click on login again, they access the protected content without signing in or up. I am finding this problem in Internet Explorer, not in Google Chrome. I erased cookies in both but I keep getting the same result. Do you think this could a problem of cookies from a prior session, maybe the w3 total cache, a bug or anything else?
Just in case, my site is [www.esaudio.net]. If you click here, It should prompt you to sign in or up.
Thanks,
Julio

October 23, 2012 at 5:26 am #49994adminKeymasterSent you an email to get access to the site so I can check this.
October 23, 2012 at 3:34 pm #49995jfoppoliMemberHi,
Thanks so much for your help! I was playing a little bit with the script and I found 2 things a) for some reason the codes that should be in rejected cookies were gone. I had put them but I don’t know what happened. Another thing, in W3 Total Cache, I reduced the time it cleans the cache from 3600 secs to 120, I know it is a short cache time, but it seemed to have worked. Right now it has been working fine. If I notice any strange behavior I will let you know. with these changes, the login and logout work as they should , and i am not getting failed security checks or access to restricted content without logging in. I will keep you posted if this changes.
Thanks again for your AMAZING support. The plugin is awesome and the customer support is ever better!
April 26, 2013 at 3:02 pm #49996flugfiskefilmerMemberHi!
I have no cache plugin installed and after installing the latest version of eMember all members get the error message: Security check failed on login when trying to login.
I have installed WP 3.51 and everythin was in order but after upgrading the eMember and eStore to the latest version it is no longer possible to login.
Any ideas how to solve this issue?
April 26, 2013 at 11:31 pm #49997adminKeymasterJust to make sure… you have done this correct?
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Can you please create a test member account and then share the details of this user along with the member login URL so I can try a login and check it?
