Perfect. That was exactly what I was looking for, and you already had it on the shelf. I just love your software. Thanks!
P.S. You might want to have the two docs above link to each other.
January 5, 2013 at 5:16 pm in reply to: Custom Fields in Both Registration and Profile, can they just be in one? #35655jerrycMemberYou folks are fantastic! I’m so happy I chose your system to work with.
jerrycMemberTry using firebug to see what the css is.
Rather than editing theme or plugin css code directly, I like to use the lazyest stylesheet plugin. It always loads as the last stylesheet, and overrides any conflicts in other ones. Plus, I get to keep all my custom css in one place, and it doesn’t get overwritten with plugin or theme upgrades.
It should work for what you’re trying to do.

January 2, 2013 at 6:23 am in reply to: how can i multiply the registration form templates for each membership level ? #52725jerrycMemberI’d love this feature, too. I expect others would, too. Please consider adding it in a future upgrade.
jerrycMemberI’m pretty sure you can control two things:
1. How long the affiliate gets commissions, and you can set it for 99 years or something, and
2. That the initial affiliate never get overridden by another affiliate referral.
I’m pretty sure I saw these on the forum. You should be able to search them. They might even be on an admin page.
Good luck.
jerrycMemberRob,
You’ll need version 8.4.7.
That worked for me.
Best,
Jerry
jerrycMemberI don’t have this problem, but I love watching how you folks solve things. It’s such a pleasure to have you in my corner.
Blessings to you all, and have a great 2013.

December 28, 2012 at 5:30 am in reply to: eMember – customize emember registration form Last Name field optional #52601jerrycMemberThanks. It works with the latest version.
Is there an easy way to show on the free registration page that a field is optional? They used to all be required, and I like that they aren’t now, but it doesn’t tell the user that they are optional.
December 28, 2012 at 4:01 am in reply to: eMember – customize emember registration form Last Name field optional #52599jerrycMemberNo. That didn’t change anything. Those fields seem to apply to the major registration form, not the free one that only has 3 fields.
Also, while I don’t want the last name field on the easy free registration page (where all 3 fields are required) I still want it optional on the main registration form.
December 28, 2012 at 1:01 am in reply to: eMember – customize emember registration form Last Name field optional #52597jerrycMemberThanks, Nur. My site isn’t public yet. If you could just tell me where the checkboxes are to configure this feature, I’ll try it again. I couldn’t find them. (My new website is a part time project for me, and I don’t get to work on it every day.)
I also want to say I love the customer service attitude of your company. Besides all the help you give in this forum, I have gotten some amazing help in my email box, way, way beyond what I could have ever expected. It may seem like I need a lot of help, and maybe I expected too much of your software, but I looked at them all, and they all have shortcomings. Nonetheless, yours is, by far the best, and I was clear about that when I bought it, even before I got such wonderful service. You folks rock. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Blessings for a Merry Christmas season and a great 2013.
Jerry
December 23, 2012 at 12:34 am in reply to: eMember – customize emember registration form Last Name field optional #52593jerrycMemberThose checkboxes didn’t seem to work for me on the 3 field free member form, even with the latest update. I will admit, however, I didn’t spend a long time on it after I got the update, but I didn’t notice any difference with it. Those checkboxes only seem to work for the main registration form, not the quickie one for free membership signup. That’s my experience.
It looks like I’m not the only one with this problem, except I’d like to remove the last name field completely and replace it with nothing.

That’s amazing service.
Thank you.
jerrycMemberFantastic!
I love customization options, especially when they are so easy to do.
Thanks.
