I get this error only with this lately photos, I uploaded a photos last week and I did not have the same problem. I have the latest version of the wp-photo-seller 1.7.9 I was not getting the error with the previous version. I host with ipower.com
No, most of my images are the same same between 12 and 16MB, the image 14051111716735.jpg is just under 10MB.

The directory 2 has the image zoom_14051111716735.jpg but no the watermark_14051111716735.jpg
and I still getting this message

I tried myself before I did the fix of the ratio and I though that problem, a customer before informed me of that, and today another customer informed me of the same problem. I did as you said and changed the resolution to 1 for 100%, 0.5 for 50% and .25 for 25%, however one of my customer could not download the photo, she email me the link and it just a blank page.
