Here is my accessible WPS Gallery. No customization of pages – straight WPS.
[http://www.corrieleephotography.ca/photogallery/gallery19/]
The dog image is just a test image of a very small size. I had to test a smaller sized image because the images I want are not accessible in Product Details.
Dog = Gallery-Test-Number-19.jpg ( #1146 ) Size of file: 433×650
Test it and you get into Product Details no problem. You can see the photo, product and are able to place an order.
Test the other image of the ATV DRIVER and the Product Details page comes up blank under “Product Details”.
Thise file is under 2 MB in size which the system told me was the maximum file size.
File name: Off-Road-2013-ATV-Event-01.jpg ( image1155 )
File type: JPG
Dimensions: 2800 × 1867
file size ( double checked file is hosted in gallery ): 1.64 MB
What I found when I checked to see if the file was hosted here in Gallery #19
PATH in host: wp-content/uploads/wp_photo_seller/19/
that the upload system did not generate a watermark version of the file
There is a watermark version of the test file watermark_Gallery-Test-Number-19.jpg
Please provide guidance on how to fix OR tell me the true maximum file size I can use.
NOTE: We want to be able to sell TRUE high resolution Digital Files so that people can print their own 8×10 enlargements (or whatever large format use they have on their end). That requires files of approximately 2800 px in width to not be pixelated.

Admin will be in touch soon asking for your log in details.
October 9, 2013 at 11:16 pm #58244adminKeymasterWhat is your PHP RAM memory limit set to for this server? Your hosting provider can answer this for you.
October 10, 2013 at 2:19 am #58245jdcanadaMemberBased on a resource screen with my host company, it looks like my PHP is working from version PHP5.3 and has the following limits set
My internet connection has been “misbehaving” during the past few days and files are sometimes taking a long time to upload. However the test files I put into this gallery I uploaded one at a time. They went in relatively fast.
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
; Resource Limits ;
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
max_execution_time = 300 ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds
max_input_time = 60 ; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request data
memory_limit = 18M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (8MB)
October 10, 2013 at 6:17 am #58246adminKeymasterLooks like currently the limit is set to 18MB which is really low for a website. Due to such low memory allowance the plugin is failing to process your larger files. Please contact your hosting provider and request them to increase the memory limit to 64MB or 128MB.
October 10, 2013 at 3:45 pm #58247jdcanadaMemberTHANKS FOR YOUR INPUT. I got this from my host service this morning :
The default PHP RAM memory limit set on our server is 36MB. Since you are having issues with uploading a file I have increased the memory limit to 128Mb and also increased the upload file size to 20MB. This is the maximum limit which is supported on our servers. Could you please try to upload the files again?
I am testing a new photo file upload now — one that is bigger than all other tests. The photo is 2500 px wide with a file size of 1.31 MB …. and the result is:
IT WORKS !! … Thanks for your help. This ticket can close now.
Thanks again,
Janet
October 17, 2013 at 2:59 pm #58248AndiMemberH there – I downloaded the latest version of Photo Seller yesterday and had a similar issue to the one described by Janet. I loaded photos into my Photo Seller gallery, and I was able to see the individual images after I clicked on my gallery image, but then when I clicked on one of the individual images to browse through the rest, or when I clicked Add to Cart, I got an error message pertaining to memory. When I asked my host to increase my memory limit to 128Mb and upload file size to 20Mb, the error message went away, but my Product Details was just a blank page. My photo file size was less than 1Mb, but my pixel dimensions were higher than Janet mentions in her above post. When I cut my pixel dimensions in half, the problem was solved (yeah!), but now I would like to increase my pixel dimensions a little bit to display the best possible quality images in my gallery. What are the maximum pixel dimensions recommended? Also I did not find Help documentation in my zip file – is there a Help folder? Thanks!
October 18, 2013 at 12:09 am #58249adminKeymasterHi, We have no limitation on the photo pixel size or resolution or any other properties of the photo. The issue is that when those values go up, it requires more memory to serve those images. So you are only limited by your hosting account’s memory allocation. Increasing the PHP memory limit of your server will solve that. Does that make sense?
Photo seller plugin documentation here (it is mentioned on the landing page of that plugin):

October 18, 2013 at 6:27 am #58250AndiMemberOk–thanks! Yes, that makes sense.
I did already see the basic instructions–just was wondering if there was an additional troubleshooting guide. This forum is quite handy, though. Thanks for your quick reply!
October 29, 2013 at 3:38 am #58251JairoMemberi have the same problem with the plugin, my image do not display in the page detail I need help ASAP. see website at [http://store.photosbyjairo.com/photogallery/]
October 29, 2013 at 12:00 pm #58252PeterMemberThe reason why the image is not being displayed is because your server appears to not have enough memory to process the watermarking.
You need to talk to your host provider and ask them to increase the “memory_limit” value of your server. Request them to increase the PHP Memory limit on your server and they will know what to do.
