Thumbnail not generating for some photos, mostly larger ones

Dear Support Experts,

I am using the product for the first time. The photos upload successfully but the thumbnail is a question mark even though I can see the photo with watermark text when I click on it. Some photos are working and some are not. Mostly it is larger ones (8 MB and up) that are not generating thumbnails but it is also some smaller ones. I’ve worked with my hosting provider (GoDaddy.com) and we are wondering if it is a PHP5.ini issue. If it is, what do we need to do? Alternatively, what should I ask them to add or what are we missing? I would provide you a link but the page is password protected. Thank you in advance.

I created a temporary gallery with four of the photos for you to view the issue named TEMP Gallery Oct 2013 at [http://lasvegasnba.org/photogallery/gallery3/] with the password tempgalleryoct2013. The photos that show in the thumbnail version are always the same ones and the ones that only show a question mark are always the same ones. Thank you in advance.

More information: So it looks like the pictures all show up if I use Template 1 where the thumbnails are standardized but not if I use Template 2.

That looks like template 3. Can you post the link to the gallery with the issue you are seeing?
