February 23, 2012 at 7:03 pm in reply to: Affiliate Platform – Get Invalid Login after Forgot Password #41030workhorseMember
I down loaded and installed the new build of the affiliate plugin. All the data was still there after deactivating and deleting the old version. I tested the forgotten password reset and it works fine now. I also tested changing the password as the user and as the admin and had success on all fronts.
Thank you. Anyone else having this problem go right to the new build and then get back to work . . .haha
February 22, 2012 at 11:07 pm in reply to: Affiliate Platform – Get Invalid Login after Forgot Password #41028workhorseMemberI am having the exact same problem as nathanbarry. I am using the affiliate program with eStore and the payment gateway plugins. Everything seems to be working fine. I was notified by an affiliate that they tried changing their password and it didn’t take. I deactivated and then activated the plugin and now I can change the password from the admin panel and i tested changing the password from a test signup and it seems to work fine. However if I try and use the forgotten password feature I do get the email with a new password but the password doesn’t work. So the forgotten password that the system is creating is not getting saved or added to the members info. I have typed the new password manually and not copied and pasted and have tried this many times before writing this to you.
Please advise.
Thank you
Jason

February 10, 2012 at 12:31 am in reply to: anayltics ecommerce n paypal pro w/ gate way bundle #41735workhorseMemberI am having the exact same problem with the new gateway. Your documentation says to complete these steps.
1 Log into your PayPal account (make sure you have PayPal payments pro active on your account – this is a paid service of PayPal)
2 Click on Profile in the top bar
3 Click Request API Credentials (under the Account Information section)
4 Click Set up PayPal API Credentials and Permissions
5 Click Grant API Permission
In the paypal API panel there is the place where I get the username password and signature for the plug-in. For step 5 to grant API permission I need a 3rd party username. I cannont complete step 5 with out this information and or this list of steps is not correct. I have had all the api data in place since the first time I have tried the plugin. In paypal the request for credentials is clearly different then the request for permission. What is the next step in trying to solve this problem. Very open to granting you any access you might need if you are open to taking a look.

February 2, 2012 at 7:04 am in reply to: joining with out checking terms and conditions check box #41499workhorseMemberoh Man. I think I may be in deep trouble here. I just came the affiliate program running which lead to getting the full fillment tracking in analytics and 3 of your products I was excited about but the whole day has been a nightmare trying to get things to work. I can’t even find the /1.6.0/ in the source code of the page. I found this

and this

I know just enough to be dangerous with so many things. Do you reccomend I even try to hack the theme myself and pull the conflict? I’m pretty sure now it is the theme and what’s in there for the sliders. I would prefer being able to launch the affiliate program and have the store working as planned tomorrow over the sliders working. Or do you reccomend doing it right with a new theme. Wish I knew the right questions to ask a week ago. Can’t thank you enough for your patience and help. Totally appreciate your experience and wisdom with how much trouble I’m here.
Thank you again.
Jason
workhorseMemberupdate – we turned off the mailchimp autoresonder and the transaction goes through to the thank you page now even thoug it does hang for a second and you can still see some errors registering. Here is the anayltics code from the thank you page.

I am not finding the product info ‘_addTrans’ that I see in other peoples anayltic data from the page source on their thank you pages. We are using the paypal pro gate way and I have gone down the check list of things we should have done.
– I do have an Analytics account working properly.
– I do have installed Yoast’s Google Analytics For WordPress plugin.
– I do have E-Commerce Tracking enabled in my Analytics account.
– I have checked the “Enable Google Analytics Tracking” checkbox in the setting menu of the WP eStore plugin.
– I do have “Auto Return” turned ON in my Paypal profile.
– I give Google Analytics plenty of time – this last one seems unnecessary since I believe the error is keeping any data from even going to analytics.
Thank you and please let me know what other info to get you to help me work this out.

January 18, 2012 at 11:06 pm in reply to: Plugin Not Showing up in Dashboard Correctly After Install #33420workhorseMemberI am running into this same issue and have discovered it is the theme we are using breaking the WP-Admin menu. Is there any work around to this problem. Like a way to access all the other plugin features through the settings feature I can access in the WP plug-ins area?
Thank you
Jason
