It seems like i found a solution to the problem: I had an old deactivated version of W3 Total Cache that i reactivated when i moved to the new server. Not sure if this is possible, but it seems like that plugin had some cached pages with the old prices.
Deleted the plugin and wnt over to Super Cache and now everything looks good.
webar2007SpectatorMy host has now recompiled apache and php and for the last 24 hours or so everything looks very fine. Will fill in your form.
webar2007SpectatorThanks, i have contacted them.
When i look a the debug logs, i see this error message over and over again:
“[07/11/2012 6:40 PM] – FAILURE :Connection to http://www.paypal.com failed. fsockopen error no. : ” And this is as you mentioned the server hiccup. Is something missing from this error message? It seems like a number or a code should come after the “:”.
webar2007SpectatorI use kvchosting.com and i have a dedicated server. I have access to whm/cpanel. Is there a way i can check these hiccups?
webar2007SpectatorJust got another error (not in Manage Customers):
From the ipn handle:
[07/10/2012 11:55 AM] – SUCCESS :Paypal Class Initiated by xxxxxx
[07/10/2012 11:55 AM] – SUCCESS :Post string : redacted]
[07/10/2012 11:55 AM] – FAILURE :Connection to http://www.paypal.com failed. fsockopen error no. :
[07/10/2012 11:55 AM] – SUCCESS :Paypal class finished.
The payment was from this page: [http://realtrafficsource.com/other-web-traffic/] (geo targeted visitors).
When i log in to Paypal, the payment looks just fine.
webar2007SpectatorUnfotunately i cant remember if the 3 products you hust mentioned went to the Manage Customers or not. We have a lot of sales so its not easy to keep track.
Today we had one order for “1900 USA FaceBook Likes” and that did NOT go to the Manage Customers (i’m still debugging).
I’m also pretty sure that a few regular traffic orders, specially from this page: [http://realtrafficsource.com/targeted-website-visitors/] has not gone to the Manage Customers.
webar2007SpectatorDebug’s sent pr email.
webar2007SpectatorDebug enabled and there seem to be a few issues. Do you want me to post this here or do you have a email address where i can send you the file(s)?
webar2007SpectatorThere are similarities, yes. But this time there’s also a payment problem. When customers buy the newly edited products (with new prices), the old price shows in Paypal and i get these “WP eStore – Payment Verification Failed!” emails from the eStore. The products that are not edited are working fine.
webar2007SpectatorThanks for your help, but the problem seemed to be related to the server date. The server date was set wrong and that also influenced the wrong purchase dates. Once the server date was corrected, everything looked fine.
webar2007SpectatorProblem solved. A WP plugin called “Hyper Cache” seemed to have caused the problems.
New question: Any WP caching plugin that works with the estore?
webar2007SpectatorBy the way, when i logged out from admin, the cart actually seems empty when i try to order.
May 29, 2011 at 7:15 am in reply to: WP eStore Purchases not showing in admin after plugin upgrade #32937webar2007SpectatorSeems like you’re right. I deleted the plugin and re-installed it. Everything seems to be working fine now.
Why isnt this plugin being auto- updated?
webar2007SpectatorThanks amin! People, give him some peace:-)
webar2007SpectatorOk, the form is filled in and sent.
