Hi eveyeryone, I apologize for the the long times between responses and do thank you for your continued assistance.
The add to cart ‘fix’ that I had seen earlier is no longer working.
I just checked the error logs and there are 17 logs in there, all for that new gallery and all stating:
[Sat Sep 24 11:12:15 2016] [error] [client 216.152.189.237] File does not exist: /home/alaska/public_html/wp-content/uploads/wp_photo_seller/13/zoom_NL-104-Northern-Lights-Lake.jpg, referer: [http://caldwellphotoalaska.com/northernlights]
All of the image files that I have loaded are averaging 1-2mb in size, we aren’t doing digital prints so the image sizes that are loaded are scaled down for just viewing and not printing. However, I can scale these down further if I need to.
Between all of the galleries there are currently about 160 photos in total.
Do you have any idea what the error message is for and how I can fix it? Do I need to further reduce the file sizes?
Thanks!
Veronica
VeronicaMemberInteresting update… When you click on any of the images in the new gallery I get a screen that shows “The requested content could not be loaded” but there is still an ‘add to cart’ button. If I click on the ‘add to cart’ then the correct purchase options show up. But here is the interesting part…. When you click that same image again it NOW shows the full size image popup correctly, with the only noted difference being that the correct copyright image isn’t showing, and I can’t seem to get that to change.
So its still not working correctly but this seems to at least get most of the issue worked around. Any idea how I might be able to get the ‘copyright’ changed back? I have the settings checked to ‘use image as watermark’ and also have the custom watermark image loaded, but its not showing in the image display.
Ideas?
VeronicaMemberI don’t believe its a memory issue. I just added the new photos to one of the existing galleries and they set up correctly – ordering and price list all working fine. So it looks like its simply an issue with the addition of the new gallery. Any ideas?
VeronicaMemberThey are on a hosted service and unable to change that setting. What other options are there to fix this?
VeronicaMemberI am trying to sort inside the individual gallery.
I have tried all of the different sorting options – ID, Date, Name – and none of them make any changes. I even tried selecting a sort option, saving things, logging out, clearing cache/history and then logging back in. No change.
I have tried with each of the galleries and it doesn’t seem to be working for any of them. They only show in the order that they were uploaded. Did I miss a setting somewhere else that could be controlling these?
Thank you for checking into this. I have to say that I have greatly appreciated the support that you have provided with this product and I have been recommending it to others as well
VeronicaMemberI just checked the server and we are only at half of the allowed storage, so plenty of storage space available. Any other ideas?
VeronicaMemberOk, the plugin is updated but the display still isn’t working. This is the new gallery that I tried to add: [http://caldwellphotoalaska.com/northernlights]
If you click on any of the photos you *should* get a screen showing a large copy of the photo along with an ‘add to cart’ button. However, the full screen copy isn’t showing, simply a note stating ‘the requested content can’t be loaded’.
The ordering link does now show correctly under that message and seems to be working, so it looks like the only thing missing at this point is the larger display copy. Any ideas?
VeronicaMemberOk, the plugin is updated but the sorting order still isn’t changing. What now?
VeronicaMemberThank you for checking into this. Here is the page: [http://caldwellphotoalaska.com/alaskaculture]
I added a new photo, train tressel, that is showing up at the bottom of the page and I want it at the top. How do I make that happen?
VeronicaMemberYou are the BEST! Regenerating the photo details page did the trick, thank you
VeronicaMemberI just tried deactivating, reactivating and its still not working.
I don’t see anything referencing a Photo Details page, where would I check for this? If it was accidentally deleted then is there any way to restore it or add it back on?
VeronicaMemberWhat is the ‘not so easy’ way to accomplish this?
