Okay. Thank you.
April 27, 2012 at 4:05 pm in reply to: Simplest way to do subscriptions on Affiliate Platform? #43262the_FiddlerMemberSo Revenue Sharing uses the same rules as the commissions? I guess that’s where I got confused.
April 27, 2012 at 12:02 am in reply to: Simplest way to do subscriptions on Affiliate Platform? #43260the_FiddlerMemberI’m finally having time to try this out. Partially because now we need it setup right away.
Here’s my problem: it appears that the Revenue Sharing option only allows a percentage to be put in. I need a specific dollar amount on each product. Is there any way to do this?
March 22, 2012 at 4:09 pm in reply to: Simplest way to do subscriptions on Affiliate Platform? #43258the_FiddlerMemberOkay, great. Thank you. Will this work with subscriptions and calculate the revenue share month after month?
November 17, 2011 at 11:21 pm in reply to: Why isn't my buy now button working and where is the promo code entry? #38552the_FiddlerMemberTo start checking it out, I just clicked the link you gave, and it shows the updates to me. Including where I reworded it to say “Enter your website URL”. So it appears it updated….
So I just checked my home page, and it appears to now be work as it should! Cool thanks for the help.

November 17, 2011 at 5:46 pm in reply to: Why isn't my buy now button working and where is the promo code entry? #38549the_FiddlerMemberThank you. However, I tired that patch for the eStore_read_form.js file you linked to, and it doesn’t seem to have worked. There’s no warning, and it doesn’t stop me from placing an order if nothing is entered in that field, it just moves on to Paypal (paying customer) or goes to the manual checkout form ($0.00 purchase). Have I done something wrong?
November 17, 2011 at 1:17 am in reply to: Why isn't my buy now button working and where is the promo code entry? #38547the_FiddlerMemberOkay, just one more question: is there some way to make the “Collect Customer Input” required?
If I can require them to enter their website URL, then I don’t need to direct them back to the PPV page, as I’ll have all the info I need from either their Papal (paying customers) or the manual payment form ($0.00 purchase).
Also, is there a way to change the “Check out with Paypal” button image? Other than just replacing the image in the plugin folder?

November 16, 2011 at 6:28 pm in reply to: Why isn't my buy now button working and where is the promo code entry? #38544the_FiddlerMemberFollowup: I think I figured out most of this. However, if the code makes the price $0.00 Paypal will not process it. It gives the error: “Please enter an amount greater than zero.” So it does need to bypass Paypal, as I suggested.
November 16, 2011 at 5:33 pm in reply to: Why isn't my buy now button working and where is the promo code entry? #38543the_FiddlerMemberI’ve been using this plugin for a while, but for limited applications. I went through the links you provided, and figured some of it out. Thank you. However, I still have some questions:
1) Is it possible to do a PPV item as a Buy Now button?
2) Is it possible to do a promo code on a Buy Now button?
3) If the promo code makes the price $0.00, shouldn’t it just bypass Payapal?
4) Is there any way for me to hide the entire cart (CSS perhaps?) except the coupon code box? This is just a one-item purchase, I don’t want them shopping around or anything, just to get this one thing.
5) Can the “check out with Paypal” button be changed?
the_FiddlerMemberJust so you know, in case other people ask. It does appear to work. I signed up for Enhanced Recurring payments. I didn’t change anything in eStore and now when I click my subscription links, it takes me to the Paypal payment site like normal, but now the Credit Card option is available and checked by default so clients can just put in their Credit Card info. It seems it works just like the normal subscription option, they just unlock the additional features for you.
December 8, 2010 at 11:29 pm in reply to: Doesn't go to Paypal for payment (probably a theme conflict) #27200the_FiddlerMemberOkay, I think I’ve fixed it! I’m not sure what was up by I got looking at my other site which has a nearly identical subscription item. The source was entirely different. I started thinking about what was different as far as how I setup the two. The only thing I could think of was the shortcode. So I changed it to use the same shortcode as on my other site. At first this didn’t do anything, because I didn’t have the extra shortcodes plugin installed. Once I did that, it started working. So I’m not sure what was wrong, but I must’ve been using the wrong shortcode.
EDIT: Amin: no I unchecked that from the start, I learned my lesson from the problems with the slider on the other site.

EDIT: just updated to WP 3.0.3 without issue, but nothing changed with eStore, still broken.
December 8, 2010 at 6:44 pm in reply to: Doesn't go to Paypal for payment (probably a theme conflict) #27196the_FiddlerMemberYeah, that’s how I got the one I’ve been using. But to be sure I just downloaded again. Disabled and deleted the plugin entirely, then uploaded again, re-activated, and still nothing.
Just to recap for Amin: eStore plugin seems to work fine for everything, except when the user actually clicks the button to go to Paypal to complete the sign-up (subscription) process. It just doesn’t react. It seems to work on something, then just stays on the product page.
I’ve tried disabling all other plugins and switching to the twenty-ten theme, and nothing changes. I’ve also re-downloaded the plugin, deleted the existing files, and uploaded them fresh from the new download. This has no effect either.
I’m happy to provide login credentials if needed.
EDIT: I just used the plugin WP-Cleanup to cut all the crap out of the database. Made my database a lot smaller, but still no effect on eStore.
