No, the edit isn’t sticking. Tried many times…
Thanks,

ozfaderMemberHi, my problem with editing a Membership Level relates to the actual level name. Whenever I try to edit one of the other fields (say for instance, change the Redirect After Login address), I have a little red error alert pop up over the Membership Level Name saying, Sorry! This one is already taken.
Running v8.9.5. Appreciate your help. Cheers,
oz
ozfaderMemberWorks a charm! Many thanks…
ozfaderMemberHi, I’m using [wp_eStore_ssf id=9]. I’ve enabled Google reCaptcha in both eMember and eStore. I can’t see anywhere to enable your Captcha addon.
The squeeze form in question is near the bottom of [http://forexistentialist.com/free-trading-tools]
Cheers…
ozfaderMemberThanks for the link @wzp.
Do you have a suggestion for my first problem, i.e. any way to compensate for the ‘Hide nav before scroll’ conflict?
ozfaderMemberOkay, Problem 1 identified. It’s related to hiding the main nav bar header before scrolling. If I disable the hide feature, the popup works fine. This is unfortunate because the slider, as a landing page, incorporates the business name and logo, but when you scroll down the page, that info obviously disappears. In its place the nav (with primary menu) drops down. If it doesn’t, I’ll have two logos present simultaneously. Bad aesthetics!
Any ideas how I can get around this issue other than linking to a brand new page, which would sort of defeat the purpose of a popup?
Also, do you have solution for Problem 2?
Thanks…
ozfaderMemberZip is only 198KB.
Sorry, I’m not sure I understand. What, or where, is Download Method 7? Please note that this is a free item delivered via manual checkout.
After reinstalling the eStore plugin, I did a test purchase and ran the debug. Download_Manager_Debug.log file below…
[deleted log file data after checking it]
ozfaderMemberHi, I realise this post is quite old but it’s still very relevant to me.
I am getting errors from downloaded zip files via encrypted links. If I download by navigating directly to the file location, I am able to extract the contents without any problem, however if I download via the email’s encrypted link, I receive the error (on a Mac), “There was a problem while reading the contents of the file “FileName.zip”: Data is corrupted.” I get a similar error on Windows.
As I said, if I download directly, the file opens perfectly. I have recently transferred my site to a new host. Could this have something to do with the problem? If so, what exactly should I be looking for?
Thanks…
November 6, 2014 at 2:19 am in reply to: Can't log in to WP-Admin – eMember causing redirection to home page #66562ozfaderMemberWhat values are you using in the following settings?
1) The after login page URL for the membership level – None
2) eMember settings -> Pages/Forms Settings -> After Login Page – [http://forexistentialist.com/members-area/] (not the landing page)
Cheers…
ozfaderMemberYep, I have Total Cache running client-side, but I was specifically looking at optimising server-side.

November 5, 2014 at 5:36 am in reply to: Can't log in to WP-Admin – eMember causing redirection to home page #66560ozfaderMemberThank you, I’ve reinstalled and I’m now able to login to the WP Dashboard, albeit in a roundabout way…
- Logging in as I used to via /wp/wp-admin still takes me straight to the logout redirection page.
- Logging in via /wp-login.php takes me to my landing page, but with the WP toolbar displayed. From there I can access the dashboard.
BTW, the only way I was able to log in before was through cPanel, by first removing eMember, logging in to WP Dashboard, and then restoring eMember to the plugins directory. By way of interest to anyone with a similar problem, I’ve answered your questions below…
Are you using this option on your site?
Yes, I had the first three options checked and last one unchecked. I’m using bbPress, but checked that when I started isolating other plugins.
Is this for when you log into the site via wp-login form or emember’s login form?
When I tried to login to WP Admin via wp-login.php.
Are you using any emember addon?
No.
As I’ve pointed out, the page to which it redirected on login was the same page I’ve set for redirection after logout. This seems to suggest it was immediately logging me out.
Thanks again. If you have any answers as to why I’m directed to my landing page rather than the admin page, please let me know. At least I can access now though.
ozfaderMemberSorry, I got sidetracked on another issue.
I thought I had checked the “Automatically Update Customer & Products Database” box, but when I looked, it wasn’t. Hopefully it was that simple mistake…
Thanks for your help.
ozfaderMemberI’ve been using Option 2 below. It works in that it sends the notification email with product link, and distributes the serials to members. What it doesn’t do is automatically store these serials in the database. I’m having to do that manually.
Unless I’m missing something here…
ozfaderMemberI have manually added the serials to the database and that is working fine now. I just need to get an answer to how I can store the twin serials (in the format “111111 and 222222”) automatically into the WP database, using manual checkout.
Appreciate your help…
ozfaderMemberOkay, I got this working (or so I thought), but another issue has arisen. Serials allocated to a free product are not being stored in the “wp_eStore_customer_tbl” database table if they are manually checked out.
If they are routed through the PayPal gateway they are fine. Squeeze form free purchases are also stored, but without serials (none are required). Because I have existing customers who are due free versions of the product that DOES require serials, I’m at a loss as to why they aren’t being stored. Any ideas?
Secondary question: As the serials have been allocated to the customers already, am I able to manually enter the members and serials into the WP MySQL database?
Thanks…
