Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eMember › eMember: Fancy Login Popup not showing
Hi, I’ve looked at many posts on this subject but none seem to specifically address my problem (two problems actually). I’m using Style 2 BTW…
To see the issues, can you please visit [http://forexistentialist.com/home3/]
Problem 1. When you click on the blue ‘Login’ link, the page changes to a whitish overlay, but the popup isn’t visible. However, if you scroll down a tad, the popup displays. I hope you can tell me how to make it pop up immediately without scrolling.
Problem 2. The links are blue, which is fine against a light background, but difficult to read against black. How can I edit the colours for individual instances of the shortcode?
Thanks,
oz
This almost always happens from a theme conflict. Poorly coded CSS of the theme is usually the issue.
Do the following theme test to confirm:

Okay, Problem 1 identified. It’s related to hiding the main nav bar header before scrolling. If I disable the hide feature, the popup works fine. This is unfortunate because the slider, as a landing page, incorporates the business name and logo, but when you scroll down the page, that info obviously disappears. In its place the nav (with primary menu) drops down. If it doesn’t, I’ll have two logos present simultaneously. Bad aesthetics!
Any ideas how I can get around this issue other than linking to a brand new page, which would sort of defeat the purpose of a popup?
Also, do you have solution for Problem 2?
Thanks…
You can specify a color for the .eMember_compact_login DIV:

Thanks for the link @wzp.
Do you have a suggestion for my first problem, i.e. any way to compensate for the ‘Hide nav before scroll’ conflict?
Nothing we can do in our plugin unfortunately. You can turn off that fancy login option as that is an optional feature of the plugin.
