April 30, 2014 at 8:46 pm in reply to: Enable Auto Expiry Email without enabling "email before account expires" email #61511mattstanleyParticipant
I keep entering 0 in the field for # of days before account expires to disable it. When I hit save the number 10 is back in the field instead of 0. How do I turn this off since it won’t let me use the number 0 in this field? I do still want them to get an email after it expires but not before.
mattstanleyParticipantThat fixed it. Thank you so much for your help!
mattstanleyParticipantA one time 45 day subscription for $80. It is training material that we are locking down. They can buy a one time 45 day subscription to get through the material. If they don’t get through it all in 45 days we would like them to be able to extend the subscription by an additional 15 days for a $25 fee. This would give them 60 days total. The only way I can think to do this is to create two subscriptions (one for 45 days for $80 and one for 15 days for $25). If I do this I’m concerned that the subscriptions will overlap instead of the 15 days being added on to the end. For example if they buy the additional 15 days when they are only 40 days into the 45 day subscription I’m concerned that the 15 days would start immediately instead of at the end of the 45 day subscription. Thoughts?
mattstanleyParticipantThank you, but I am still a bit confused. I am not sure how to set up the 15 day extension. If I just create another subscription plan that expires in 15 days and they buy that while the first subscription is active won’t both subscriptions run simultaneously instead of consecutively? I would need the 15 days extension to add on to the end of the 45 days, but I am not sure how to set it up in the back end to work that way.

1)Is there a way to change what the default message is on the “Send Notification to user” email? I’m guessing there is someplace in the code that we can change it. Also, I’m concerned that our changes would will get overwritten every time we upgrade the plugin.
2) For a future version it might be nice to have the notification email on the main email settings page so it could be edited with the other emails. It would also be nice to be able to set the email to go out automatically without having to check a box each time so that the client doesn’t have to remember. Also, would love to be able to mark a client account as active right from the dashboard without having to go into the edit screen. It would be a little less confusing for our clients who aren’t very tech savvy.
June 27, 2012 at 11:47 pm in reply to: eMember – Can't activate plugin, kicks me out of back end #46561mattstanleyParticipantI deactivated all plugins and then was able to activate emember and estore. I’m wondering if it was conflicting with WordPress firewall.
I have followed these instructions to hopefully prevent further issues. “WordPress Firewall: This plugin seem to block any plugin’s admin menu as it thinks that opening the “wp-admin.php” is a suspicious request and redirects you to the homepage of your site when you click on any of the eStore menus.
Update: the developer seem to have released v2 of this firewall plugin which may be working better when you uncheck the following option from the WP FireWall 2 plugin:
Block WordPress specific terms (wp_, user_login, etc.) in application parameters.”
