Hi admin,
Thanks for clearing that up, can I ask why eMember has the option to upload a profile picture?
And just to clarify if a member of my website would like a avatar they have to sign up for an online gravatar account?
I might try find a solution via BBPress, I’m sure they should be able to provide an option to allow BBPress users the choice to change their avatar profile pic.
Many thanks

marques_ukMemberHi Admin,
Thanks for your help, that plugin does the business and everything works perfectly. Just need to style the BBPress forum now
Many thanks
marques_ukMemberHi admin,
Think I’m almost there. This is my scenario now.
I go to the forum page, I see the “You must be logged in to reply to this topic.” message. I use the eMember form via the website to login.
I’m now logged in and have my membership details showing, however it still says “You must be logged in to reply to this topic.” But if I then click on a forum or topic it allows me to post a reply or add a new comment. Is there away to remove this comment as soon as I login? Other than that its working
But next problem I have is when I’m logged in as a member, I get the WordPress bar come up across the top of the screen with the dropdown menu that includes About WordPress etc…, and on the right side of the bar I have the Howdy, member bit where the member can edit their WP account? How to I stop this showing, I only want them to be able to edit their eMember profile.
Thanks again for your excellent service and help!

marques_ukMemberHi admin,
I would like people who aren’t registered to be able to see the forums, they just shouldn’t be able to comment?
At the moment, I can login to my website via eMember but when I click on the forum page, it still requires users to login, what settings do I need to change to make them both sync, so that once logged into the website the member will also be able to comment in the forums?
I followed your link

marques_ukMemberHi admin,
Thanks for your comments.
I think I’ll use BBPress. Could you please talk me through what I need to do, to allow members to sign into BBPress using their registration details?

I would like none members to see the forums, this way they might get interested and register to use the site. If you could help me achieve this that would be great, just can’t seem to find any relevant settings in BBPress?
Many thanks

marques_ukMemberYes I do. I think this is where I’m going wrong then. I’m currently working on my local server, and can’t currently get my send function to work, therefore unable to complete registration.
So just to confirm, the user fills in First Name, Last Name and Email, once they confirm their email are they redirected back to the registration page with all the other fields to complete registration?
I’ll hopefully be uploading the website to my host, so if you don’t hear from me the registration form is working fine.
Thanks for your help.

marques_ukMemberHi Peter,
No I didnt have that enabled, I thought this would be for your own custom field? However I have done this and its still doesn’t show any other field.
I now have Enable Custom Fields Enabled in General Settings and have the Phone Enabled in Pages/Forms Settings? I have also tried adding a custom field in Custom Field Settings called Test and this doesn’t display either.
Just to confirm I have this code shortcode on the registration page. [wp_eMember_registration]
Thank you
marques_ukMemberHi, I’m just configuring eMember, and would like to add more fields on the registration page, I’ve gone through Settings > Pages/Forms Settings enabling all the required, however when I update options, I only get the three mandatory fields First Name, Last Name and Email?
Any help would be great
Many thanks
Mark
