Is there a way to make some of the fields in the registration form mandatory,
e.g. address and country?
heres the URL to the page
http://www.bondsolon.com/register/
thanks
March 25, 2011 at 7:53 pm #30657whooplonMemberYes, I’m having the same issue. I checked off both boxes next to Address City to enable and make required the field, and it isn’t showing up as required. I just loaded the most recent version yesterday. http://whooplon.com/register

“The field isn’t mandatory even though I marked it required” – Have you tried to submit the form without entering a value in such a field?

like logging in with an affiliate class=”required”
is this possible?
thanks
March 29, 2011 at 12:51 am #30660amin007ParticipantIt should. What version of eMember do you have? Can you try installing a fresh build of eMember from here:
December 5, 2011 at 4:30 pm #30661class-of-its-ownMemberI have the same problem Any thoughts? Also I wanted to include some plain text before some checkboxes is this possible?
December 6, 2011 at 9:09 am #30662adminKeymasterDid you load a fresh build of the plugin first as mentioned in the previous post?
December 6, 2011 at 3:08 pm #30663class-of-its-ownMemberWell I bought & installed the plugin two weeks ago. Was there a change?
What a bout a text only field?
December 6, 2011 at 8:49 pm #30664class-of-its-ownMemberI just installed the newest version and I have still the issue. What should I do?
December 7, 2011 at 4:35 am #30665adminKeymasterPlease post a link to your registration page so I can check if you have JavaScript conflict on the page (this is one of the common causes for this to happen).
December 7, 2011 at 9:58 am #30666class-of-its-ownMemberHere you go [http://www.class-of-its-own.com/join-us/registration]
I have 3 errors in js the one related to registrationI think is /join-us/registration/:257 SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘/’
Any hint for my other request to have text only custom field?
December 8, 2011 at 3:21 am #30667adminKeymasterFor some reason one of the eMember regular expressions is breaking into a new line after the following characters which is causing a JavaScript error on that page:
/^([+]
I have sent you an email to get site access so I can checkout why this is happening.
January 4, 2012 at 11:04 pm #30668marques_ukMemberHi, I’m just configuring eMember, and would like to add more fields on the registration page, I’ve gone through Settings > Pages/Forms Settings enabling all the required, however when I update options, I only get the three mandatory fields First Name, Last Name and Email?
Any help would be great
Many thanks
Mark
January 4, 2012 at 11:58 pm #30669PeterMemberHi,
Do this simple check first:
Do you have “Enable Custom Fields” option checked in the settings menu to enable this feature?
January 5, 2012 at 10:05 am #30670marques_ukMemberHi Peter,
No I didnt have that enabled, I thought this would be for your own custom field? However I have done this and its still doesn’t show any other field.
I now have Enable Custom Fields Enabled in General Settings and have the Phone Enabled in Pages/Forms Settings? I have also tried adding a custom field in Custom Field Settings called Test and this doesn’t display either.
Just to confirm I have this code shortcode on the registration page. [wp_eMember_registration]
Thank you
