Do you have the “Free Members Must Confirm Email Address” option checked? This option replaces the main registration form with a small initial email verification form. The main registration form is available after the member clicks on the link sent to his email address. Full details here:

Please post a link to your registration form.

Yes I do. I think this is where I’m going wrong then. I’m currently working on my local server, and can’t currently get my send function to work, therefore unable to complete registration.

So just to confirm, the user fills in First Name, Last Name and Email, once they confirm their email are they redirected back to the registration page with all the other fields to complete registration?

I’ll hopefully be uploading the website to my host, so if you don’t hear from me the registration form is working fine.

    Thanks for your help.

Yes, once they fill in that email verification form they will be able to complete the full registration.

Hello – I know this is an old topic, but I think it fits best here.

After reading about free memberships confirmations here:

Free Members Must Confirm Their Email Address

I was wondering if wouldn’t be possible to still allow the full registration form, and still use the same process you have in place.

Or another option to allow the full registration form, and upon activating the link in email, the user is taken to the member login page.

Or at the very least, allow a minimal amount of customization on the initial screen… personally, I like just email. Some like email/pass … others fname/email others fullname/email … others name/email/pass — you get the idea.

But now that I understand how you are using the free membership registration, I can proceed happily… just thought I’d pass along my 2 cents on the topic :)

And thanks for such a wonderful product!
