Problem fixed, but not entirely understood. Breaking an 85MB file into two <50 mb files did the trick. What I am not certain of is why this failed now. There were no changes made to the system, digital content, etc. One day, this just broke and I don’t know why. The other smaller files didn’t fail, and my website delivers the data files if you enter the URL, but not if the secret URL generated by the eStore scripts are used.

kd6lorMemberMy site has been performing without difficulty for some time now and I haven’t changed a thing. This issue of a zero length zip is new. I did update my estore scripts AFTER the problem popped up thinking this may help. I will review the posts you suggest and report. A direct link to the file works and downloads as expected, the eStore generated link does not.

I changed the file name to all lower case and problem remains. Am quite confused as to where to turn now. Odd thing is other downloads working fine.
kd6lorMemberKey Master, thanks for the advice. Paypal wouldn’t let me test my own site as I would be paying myself from my own acct, but I had a friend test it. Worked great. I am not sure where the problem was, but when I changed the send to email from my normal address to my gmail address, the emails arrived. My emails weren’t getting stuck in my junk email box, but possibly by my isp. I will probably never know, but as long as it works, I am happy.

kd6lorMemberJust made the change. Is there any easy way to test this without doing the Paypal sandbox mode thing. I did that when I first started up the site and it was a pain in the rump.

kd6lorMemberUse WordPress Mailing System – CHECKED. If I uncheck the box, will it use the same email function as the admin functions emails?

kd6lorMemberAmin007, thanks for trying to help, but I think you missed the start of my thread. I am not getting notification from my website. My log says SUCCESS. I am assuming that my customer is not getting my email as well.
The last paragraph of my prior post tells me something… What I am not sure… That’s what I am hoping to get help on figuring out. To test the script’s ability to send an email, I used the admin function within WP eStore. THAT EMAIL CAME TO ME, but email generated by the estore regarding a sale notice never comes. I suspect, but do not know for sure that the customer is not getting my thank you email as well.
I appreciate your help, but you missed some important information from my prior posts.

kd6lorMemberA subsequent sale was processed by my website today. No notification either so I don’t believe it to be a solitary issue as I was hoping. Fortunately the volume of sales is low, so I can handle each sale individually, but this is not how I would like this to work out!
This is a snip from the log file that indicates the email process should have been successful. My concern is that the buyer is not getting his download link either. The information is available on the web after-purchase, but I wanted to send an email as well.
I am not sure where to turn at this point. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here is an interesting find. When I use the WP eStore admin functions to send an email to myself, to my surprise I get one. I figured that if the ability to get email from my website was broken, then sending manually would not work. It does…

kd6lorMemberAll lines were a “success” looks like a spam filter or server issue. This is the first time I remember this happening and I have changed nothing in my setup. Hope my webhost hasn’t changed anything that broke my setup.

kd6lorMemberAmin, thanks for the suggestion and help!

kd6lorMemberI didn’t fix the problem but worked around by creating individual products for the pro and home versions and then placing two add to cart buttons on each page. Glad I only have 4 products.
Am still interested in an actual fix.

kd6lorMemberBTW, the paypal purchase notification from Paypal worked fine and I got paid, but no notification of success from WP, and no digital delivery to my customer.

kd6lorMemberThanks for all your help. Your addin is fantastic. It has been tending the store since very early this morning and has sent digital items to 2 different people. The one that had issues was a problem with their spam filter and not the addin.
I will check with my ISP about updating the PHP version, but I almost hate to rock the boat since it works well now and I can live without that feature. I would be very happy, however, if I could get it to send me a text on my phone when I make a sale!
Thanks again, nice to buy from someone who stands behind their product.

kd6lorMemberFIXED
Helps to read the details. I missed this line when setting up. Works like a champ now.
You might want to delete this or possibly leave for the next hot rod that skips all the info.

Finally, enable this feature by checking the “Enable Transaction Result Display” in the settings (Email Notification and Digital Product Delivery section) menu.
kd6lorMemberMay have found issue. Possible script bug. I removed the text from the “Additional Product Details” page, “Product Description” and it stopped the error.
Question is why when the text field specifies that” This description is used when displaying products using the fancy display option.” does it crash the stylish tag.
