karencheahMemberIs the pricing table still available for download? I can’t find it in the list of downloads available and the link given above has nowhere to download it. Can you please advise? Thanks.
August 25, 2016 at 1:37 am in reply to: eMember – Generate and Email the Registration Completion link (Bulk Mode) #68986karencheahMemberHi, there’s definitely an email address value as it works if I send it by ID and I can also see the email address of this member record.
There is only 1 incomplete member because I’ve set it up to test. We wanted to make sure that the bulk email will work before we actually do it for many incomplete members.
August 19, 2016 at 2:41 am in reply to: eMember – Generate and Email the Registration Completion link (Bulk Mode) #68984karencheahMemberI’ve done the debug steps as requested and here are the results of the log files:
[08/19/2016 2:35 AM] – SUCCESS : Log file reset
[08/19/2016 2:37 AM] – SUCCESS :Bulk registration completion email feature. Sending email to:

August 16, 2016 at 12:15 am in reply to: Paid membership – annual or monthly setup with price freeze for first 1500 #73796karencheahMemberSo can I conclude that having eStore will only assist with managing the inventory levels so that we can know quickly how many memberships have been sold. Are there any other benefits of having eStore on top of eMembers? I’d assume it would make it easier to manage the items to be sold – can we manage it all within eStore without having to go to Paypal to create buttons?
August 8, 2016 at 12:07 pm in reply to: Paid membership – annual or monthly setup with price freeze for first 1500 #73794karencheahMemberThe 1500 spots will probably take more than weeks to be sold out so I suppose we could adjust it manually as the sales progress. Is there a feature for the admin to be notified when the inventory falls below a certain level? In that case, we only check when the trigger notifies us.
Let’s call the first 1500 subscription A-annual and A-monthly. And lets call the subsequent products after the 1500 has been sold B-annual and B-monthly. So when A-annual and A-monthly have run out of stock, we will take them off sale and put on B-annual and B-monthly. How do the customers who have purchase A-annual and A-monthly renew their subscription? Will it affect them that those products are not for sale anymore?
As for B-annual and B-monthly, when there’s a price increase, I assume we will edit the product price. For customers who have purchased these subscriptions, will their renewal automatically pick up the new price?
August 6, 2016 at 5:56 am in reply to: eMember – Generate and Email the Registration Completion link (Bulk Mode) #68980karencheahMemberHi, sorry for the confusion. I don’t mean that I would like a test mode. But when I used it just to test with one incomplete registration, nothing happened. Hence the reason for my question. I am not confident that it will work when I have more than 1 incomplete registration when it didn’t with just one. Is it working for everyone else?
August 5, 2016 at 6:00 am in reply to: Paid membership – annual or monthly setup with price freeze for first 1500 #73792karencheahMemberWithout actually going ahead to purchase eStore first, I would like to understand how it works to see if we will benefit from having the extra plugin.
It is good to know that we can use inventory limits to keep the number of initial members to 1500. Would we need to define the monthly payment and annual payment for the same membership as 2 products? Hopefully not. But if we need to, how would you suggest to keep the inventory limit of the combination of these 2 products to 1500.
Progressing from the 1500 initial members, is there a way for the product to switch over to the higher priced product when the 1500 is sold? That means that the higher priced product is only available for purchase when the first 1500 has been sold.
Would appreciate your advice on this before we consider purchasing eStore. Thanks.
August 5, 2016 at 5:54 am in reply to: eMember – Generate and Email the Registration Completion link (Bulk Mode) #68978karencheahMemberThanks for that. I was just testing that it works before actually using it on live data. How can I test the bulk mode?
July 1, 2016 at 11:30 am in reply to: eMember – Generate and Email the Registration Completion link (Bulk Mode) #68976karencheahMemberHi, I’m having the same issue. Sending them individually works. I only have 1 incomplete registration in my test site. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Karen
March 7, 2016 at 1:07 am in reply to: eMember – upgrade free member to paid via PayPal using only eMember? #55443karencheahMemberHi, I’m just applying the Advanced Integration section in the Paypal buttons documentation to cater for upgrade that have different Paypal email address to the eMember email address. I’m trying to add the shortcode inside the button html code but when viewing the visual, the shortcode appears outside the button, i.e., you can actually see the shortcode below the button.
Why isn’t it working for me? Please help.
Thanks,
Karen
Sorry, just tested ok. It was only in the visual that it’s showing, not on the actual page itself and the code works beautifully.
karencheahMemberThanks, that’s handy now. I didn’t foresee this before so didn’t check that option.
karencheahMemberThanks for the feedback on how to get back my administrator privilege; that wasn’t a problem. I know that there will be very few instances where the email of an administrator or some other existing WP user will be used to register for membership. However, it is still possible and if that happens, the new member would definitely prefer to keep their original WP role. Is there a way to have a warning when this happens and not just overwrite the WP user?
