She copy and pasted the download link into both explorer and firefox and she said it didn’t work.
jwiseMemberGot another sale today in which the link didn’t work for the customer. They clicked on it and received an error.
They even copy and pasted the link into their browser window and it still didn’t work.
jwiseMemberThank you for this advice. I’m going to implement both ideas right now.
I had another sale this week where they couldn’t get the link to work.
I’ll let you know how it goes.
June 22, 2011 at 4:15 pm in reply to: Best Way To Sell Downloadable Video Products In WP-Estore #33645jwiseMemberOkay, so once I get set up with Amazon S3 how would I integrate that with WP-Estore?
I wouldn’t want to do pay per view.
That only leaves url right?
jwiseMemberHi, can you let me know if you think we’ve fixed my shopping cart issue? It’s at this site.

Thank you!
jwiseMemberThank you for that link! I’ve done that now on all my sites. I hope it works for everyone. Does it work for you now?
jwiseMemberThank you for your reply.
Here is one example of what wp-estore code I have on the page.
<p style=”text-align: center;”>[wp_eStore:product_id:1:end]
[wp_eStore_cart_fancy1_when_not_empty]</p>
Do you see anything wrong with this one?
I am using W3 Total Cache and it was saying, “Browser caching is not active.” I made it active.
Do you notice a difference? Can you see my items in the cart?
jwiseMemberI do track with google analytics. I’m using the google analyticator plugin for this particular site. I’m also using code for google optimizer for testing as well as the conversion tracking code.
Please tell me what part of that code I need to be able to track the estore buttons.
Thank you!
jwiseMemberOkay, are you saying that the only way for google analytics to track who clicks on a wpestore button is by having them go to a checkout page?
There is no way to track a wpestore button click by itself? They click on the button and the cart anchor shows up and they check out through paypal. That won’t work?
Is wpestore going to have functionality soon to where we can have text links that aren’t images?
jwiseMemberI just had someone go through the process using Chrome 9.0.597.84 and it worked fine for him. I guess it’s just me.
Thank you for your help. I’m going to trust that it’s now working for everyone.
jwiseMemberWhen I ordered from my Droid phone I got to the PayPal “Thank you for your order” page. I then clicked the link back to Gregorio and it took me to a page that says, “sorry, your last action could not be completed”.
I don’t doubt that it has worked for you twice. It’s just not working for me. I’ll have to get some other people to try it out too.
jwiseMemberThank you for testing this. Not sure why it’s not working for me. I’ll try it from my Droid phone and see what happens.
jwiseMemberThank you for testing this Ivy. I cleared cache and tried again. It still redirected to a blank page. I was using Firefox.
So you were auto sent to my thank you page? Or did you have to click a link?
Btw, if you did land on my thank you page, Google didn’t track the conversion. Very weird.
jwiseMemberI’m sorry, I’m not sure what the PDT method is.
Here is my thank you page.

I’m wondering if because they can’t reach my thank you page is the reason why my Google conversion tracking isn’t working. I want them to automatically be taken back to the thank you page.
jwiseMemberI’m confused now. Which one do I do? The way WZP said or to specify it in the estore? I already had it specified in the estore and it wasn’t working at all. It goes to a blank page.
