February 3, 2011 at 9:45 pm #28391jwiseMemberWhat if you have several websites using the same PayPal account? Will it return my baseball purchases to my kids exercise page?
February 4, 2011 at 12:36 am #28392IvyMemberHi, PayPal will return the customer to the site you have specified in the eStore. The eStore will override PayPal this way your PayPal account is not locked into one store.
February 4, 2011 at 3:38 am #28393jwiseMemberI’m confused now. Which one do I do? The way WZP said or to specify it in the estore? I already had it specified in the estore and it wasn’t working at all. It goes to a blank page.
February 4, 2011 at 4:23 am #28394IvyMemberYes the way WZP explained is correct.
Are you using the PDT method for the thank you page?
Also do you have a test product (.01) I can do a test transaction so I can see what is happening? If so can you send me a link to it?
February 4, 2011 at 5:25 am #28395jwiseMemberI’m sorry, I’m not sure what the PDT method is.
Here is my thank you page.

I’m wondering if because they can’t reach my thank you page is the reason why my Google conversion tracking isn’t working. I want them to automatically be taken back to the thank you page.
February 4, 2011 at 9:20 am #28396IvyMemberHmmm, It seems to be redirecting me back to the correct page. Which browser are you using? Maybe try clearing your browser cache and try the live purchase again.
Let me know how it goes.
February 4, 2011 at 3:20 pm #28397jwiseMemberThank you for testing this Ivy. I cleared cache and tried again. It still redirected to a blank page. I was using Firefox.
So you were auto sent to my thank you page? Or did you have to click a link?
Btw, if you did land on my thank you page, Google didn’t track the conversion. Very weird.
February 4, 2011 at 11:14 pm #28398IvyMemberHi, I was auto redirected. I was using Google Chrome for the test. Let me test this with Firefox and see if I get the same results.
I will let you know how it goes.
February 4, 2011 at 11:34 pm #28399IvyMemberI tested this in Firefox and it also worked fine.
Maybe try it from a different computer?
February 5, 2011 at 12:09 am #28400jwiseMemberThank you for testing this. Not sure why it’s not working for me. I’ll try it from my Droid phone and see what happens.
February 5, 2011 at 2:29 am #28401jwiseMemberWhen I ordered from my Droid phone I got to the PayPal “Thank you for your order” page. I then clicked the link back to Gregorio and it took me to a page that says, “sorry, your last action could not be completed”.
I don’t doubt that it has worked for you twice. It’s just not working for me. I’ll have to get some other people to try it out too.
February 5, 2011 at 3:26 am #28402jwiseMemberI just had someone go through the process using Chrome 9.0.597.84 and it worked fine for him. I guess it’s just me.
Thank you for your help. I’m going to trust that it’s now working for everyone.
February 5, 2011 at 6:52 am #28403IvyMemberLet me know if it does not and we will look into this some more for you.
