Thank you very much – that’s sorted.
Yes have been using your excellent software for a while.
Simple Download plugin is very good as is the plugin for SSL.
Is there anything on eStore now that deals VAT – in terms of different rates for different EU countries?
Thanks
J
jonnysMemberThanks. It says this on Admin Functions of eMember: The WordPress user accounts will be created with the same details from eMember but the password will be set to “changeme” (The user will have to change the password to their liking).
Is that not the case – or is my eMember an older version maybe?
Is it possible for SDM to track an eMember – would that be an easier route, but I don’t think SDM has that functionality yet.
Great news re the S3 integration.
Thanks
jonnysMemberI’m still confused by this. What I really don’t want to do is to reset everyone member’s password. Is it possible to get SDM to track the downloads of already signed up members of eMember without resetting passwords?
Thanks
jonnysMemberGreat thanks – I will try that. Just reading the instructions on the link – what will happen to people who have already registered on eMember, will I be able to track downloads they make?
Also – is it possible to link to a file on Amazon S3 as I do with your excellent eStore?
At the moment I am using a download link created in eStore – pulling a file on Amazon S3 which works great except I can’t track what they have downloaded, unless there have been any changes to the program?
Thanks J
jonnysMemberThank you just tried that – works great.
Thanks J

jonnysMemberFound out why that code was there because otherwise on this page the formatting goes wrong – the boxes get pushed too far to the left hand side.

Anything I can do?
Thanks J
jonnysMemberThanks for that. I have removed it. No idea how that got there…?
J
jonnysMemberYes that doesn’t work for us because it needs to be dependent upon country. Buyers from the USA do not get charged 20% UK VAT tax. The Paypal tax system works very well, without the same I can’t see how the Braintree thing would work for us/
Jonathan
jonnysMemberHi – yes that has got it working thank you, but at the moment I have Paypal calculate VAT based on country – I can’t see a way to do this with Braintree. Is there any way to do this, or would I have to enable tax in settings – and then everyone would be charged VAT tax even from countries where it is not needed to be charged?
Many thanks
Jonathan
jonnysMemberHi – I have enabled the Braintree plugin but it does not show up in the cart.
If you go here and add a product:
The 2 options in the cart are the normal Paypal one which is labelled Paypal/CreditCard and then Manual payment – but no Braintree.
What am I doing wrong.
Thanks
Jonathan
jonnysMemberHi – have downloaded Braintree plugin – filled in the API keys etc and enabled it, plus I have the multiple gateways option ticked in settings but I get no option for Braintree in cart. What am I missing?
Thanks

jonnysMemberI have resubmitted the info via the contact form as requested – you have to select eStore as the plugin to send the contact form so I have selected eStore but just to re-iterate it is the Braintree plugin that I am trying to get.
Thanks
Jonathan
jonnysMemberHi – I did send in the info via the contact form but Ivy sent me the info for downloading the eStore plugin not the Braintree plugin. I will fill it in again though and thanks for getting back to me.
Jonathan
jonnysMemberOK thanks – have sent the form in. J
jonnysMemberGreat that worked – thanks for your help.
