I am trying to download the Braintree plugin but my forum address is not the registered address used for purchase.
I have my transaction ID etc – how can I get the Braintree plugin please?
Thanks

December 2, 2014 at 8:39 pm #67126jonnysMemberI have resubmitted the info via the contact form as requested – you have to select eStore as the plugin to send the contact form so I have selected eStore but just to re-iterate it is the Braintree plugin that I am trying to get.
Thanks
Jonathan
December 2, 2014 at 11:36 pm #67127wpCommerceModerator@jonnys, There is a link on the documentation page. You can click on it to directly download the addon:

December 4, 2014 at 10:41 am #67128jonnysMemberHi – have downloaded Braintree plugin – filled in the API keys etc and enabled it, plus I have the multiple gateways option ticked in settings but I get no option for Braintree in cart. What am I missing?
Thanks

December 4, 2014 at 3:44 pm #67129wzpModeratorPlease provide a link to a test page. Have you checked the enabled braintree gateway option from the Braintree addon?
December 4, 2014 at 11:10 pm #67130jonnysMemberHi – I have enabled the Braintree plugin but it does not show up in the cart.
If you go here and add a product:
The 2 options in the cart are the normal Paypal one which is labelled Paypal/CreditCard and then Manual payment – but no Braintree.
What am I doing wrong.
Thanks
Jonathan
December 5, 2014 at 12:15 am #67131adminKeymasterHi Jonathan, please do the following for the core eStore plugin:

Let me know how it goes after that.
December 8, 2014 at 12:10 pm #67132jonnysMemberHi – yes that has got it working thank you, but at the moment I have Paypal calculate VAT based on country – I can’t see a way to do this with Braintree. Is there any way to do this, or would I have to enable tax in settings – and then everyone would be charged VAT tax even from countries where it is not needed to be charged?
Many thanks
Jonathan
December 9, 2014 at 5:57 am #67133wpCommerceModeratorI’m not sure if Braintree can calculate tax like PayPal. However, If you enable tax in the settings the amount charged should be tax inclusive.
December 9, 2014 at 9:14 am #67134jonnysMemberYes that doesn’t work for us because it needs to be dependent upon country. Buyers from the USA do not get charged 20% UK VAT tax. The Paypal tax system works very well, without the same I can’t see how the Braintree thing would work for us/
