I have the payment gateway option of manual on my site for people who want to pay by cheque.
As the VAT tax for my customers is not added until they get to Paypal – I would like to remove the reference to tax on this form on the right.
Is this possible to mod?
Thanks Jonathan
In that case it should show tax as 0 in the manual checkout form. Showing 0 tax on the manual checkout form is an issue?
Are you using the on page manual checkout form or the standard/default one?
It’s not a big problem – and I have amended the message on the left to say that a VAT invoice will be sent to them, but 0 tax implies that there is no tax to pay so it would be better if that line could be removed – is that possible.
I presume I am using the standard one – I don’t know the “on page manual checkout form” is?
Thanks Jonathan
Okay. I think there is another way to address this:
Will it help if we make a change and make it so the tax in the manual checkout form doesn’t get displayed if it set to $0. I think that might be a better way to address this?
Hi – yes that would be great.
Thank you.

Okay I have made this change. Please download a new copy of the eStore plugin and check it
out:
Hi – thanks for doing that.
I have downloaded the new version.
Just wondering – I have made a few changes to the checkout images and to the language file – I’m guessing these will be overwritten?
Once updated can I re-load my old images directory and eng.php file?
Many thanks
Jonathan
Yes, you can reload the images and the language file.
Great that worked – thanks for your help.
