We’re still waiting for any news of added or enhanced features for the Public Profile pages from the developers.
I assume (hope) it’s either on their Wishlist or in development.
The demand’s obviously there – just hope there’s enough demand for them to spend some time on improving it in the near future.

I now see that eMember is at version 7.9.5.
Where can I find a Changelog to see what has changed since 7.9.0?
johnw1965Member“If there is enough interest then we will put development time and add more shortcodes for this feature.”
I cast my vote too.
I’d love to see more shortcodes to make this feature as flexible and versatile as possible.
In particular I’d love to be able to filter the results via multiple criteria e.g. by active/inactive members then by state and member level.
Our current members list looks like this (non-Wordpress)
[http://www.anats.org.au/findateacher/findateacher.php?state=nsw]
I’m trying to convert this to WP eMember. The members area itself works great but the Public Profile page doesn’t yet offer the filtering and sorting features we need.
johnw1965MemberLet me add another vote to putting more display options into the public profile listing feature.
It’s such a good version 1 feature which would be greatly improved with a few options to allow us to filter and sort the output on just about any field.
johnw1965MembereMember_auth_utils.php is inside the “wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember” folder.
johnw1965MemberApril 15, 2012 at 8:22 pm in reply to: Changing border colors (or removing borders) on login, edit profile forms, etc.. #44144johnw1965MemberThose borders are coming from the CSS in your theme.
[http://www.agess.org/wp-content/themes/AgessBizz/style.css]
Line 1616
.art-article th, .art-article td
{
padding: 2px;
border: solid 1px #7095A9;
vertical-align: top;
text-align: left;
}
You can override it with a more specific rule in custom.css in your theme
e.g.
#wp_emember_loginForm th, #wp_emember_loginForm td
{
border: 0;
}
johnw1965MemberYes, understood.
Once I click the Account State column header, it sorts by Active/Inactive (that’s fine), but the resultant screen looks randomly sorted. It’s not alphabetical, it’s not by ID, it’s not by date of entry.
I suppose what I’m asking for is a feature request:
Can a dropdown please be added to the Manage Members screen filter the results to view Active Members Only.
johnw1965MemberThanks for the suggestion Peter.
Yes, I’ve been clicking the little arrow to sort by Account State but it’s not what I want.
I’d prefer to filter the screen (via a dropdown) by viewing only Active members only (or Inactive Members only or View All).
I could then view alphabetically by First Name or Last Name by clicking the little arrow in the column header.
I don’t see any way of doing that. Perhaps one for a future feature request?
On a side note: when I click the little arrow to view the Members with Active at the top, what is the secondary sort based on? The Active members are not then listed alphabetically or in any other way that I’d consider useful.

I was wrestling the the absence of that in my previous version so thanks for adding it. That’s excellent.
Appreciate all your help.

“This information is stated on our forum rules page and also on the page that you see after you log into the forum.”
Yes, I can see the information now that you mention it but I would not have found those locations without you showing me.
I scoured the website looking for a download link.
I also went through my email inbox looking for the download link but the one I received at purchase time was temporary and long-expired.
I also searched the forum via search and found no mention of an upgrade link.
I have the forums bookmarked and I come straight into the forum already logged in via cookies so I never see the forum landing page.
Any chance you could put this information somewhere on your website for people like me? Or create a sticky post on the forum?
Thanks.

I have de-activated and re-activated several times, before and after posting here.
I have also removed the plugin entirely and loaded a fresh copy.
Same result. Error message.
Is 7.5.3 the current version? If not, where can I download the update?

Do you have a Wishlist where we can add such feature requests?
I saw that it had been mentioned in the forums previously.
