Why would I be getting the above error message when trying to add a Member Level? Doesn’t tell me anything about the error or how to fix it.
Same with Adding New Members – I cannot add any data.
What can I check? Have I missed a setting somewhere?
March 16, 2012 at 11:08 pm #43092PeterMemberHi,
Please try deactivating and then reactivating the plugin to see if that fixes it.
March 16, 2012 at 11:18 pm #43093adminKeymasterThis usually happens when you update the plugin without following the update instruction. Try peter’s suggestion and if that doesn’t help then load a fresh build of the plugin following the eMember upgrade instruction:

I have de-activated and re-activated several times, before and after posting here.
I have also removed the plugin entirely and loaded a fresh copy.
Same result. Error message.
Is 7.5.3 the current version? If not, where can I download the update?
March 17, 2012 at 12:34 am #43095adminKeymasterYou can download the current build of the plugin from here:

“This information is stated on our forum rules page and also on the page that you see after you log into the forum.”
Yes, I can see the information now that you mention it but I would not have found those locations without you showing me.
I scoured the website looking for a download link.
I also went through my email inbox looking for the download link but the one I received at purchase time was temporary and long-expired.
I also searched the forum via search and found no mention of an upgrade link.
I have the forums bookmarked and I come straight into the forum already logged in via cookies so I never see the forum landing page.
Any chance you could put this information somewhere on your website for people like me? Or create a sticky post on the forum?
Thanks.
March 17, 2012 at 1:05 am #43097johnw1965MemberBy the way, the 7.7.8 update now works just fine and I do like the enhancements such as adding an expiry date to membership levels.
I was wrestling the the absence of that in my previous version so thanks for adding it. That’s excellent.
Appreciate all your help.
