I know that we check the current version number at https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/version-info. Says it’s 7.9.0.
Yet some forum posts report later version numbers
e.g. https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/can-not-update-membership-levels
That poster has 7.9.6.
Are there unreleased beta versions floating around which are later than the current officially listed version?
We update the support site on a regular basis however we list the last known stable version only. When a new build is released there is some delay before we update the information on the support site.
As long as your version is the same or above the listed number you are fine. However note you can always get the latest build from the plugin update page here:
Thanks for the response, Ivy.
I now see that eMember is at version 7.9.5.
Where can I find a Changelog to see what has changed since 7.9.0?
We will have the changelog ready when we reach the next major milestone (v8).
We have added a folder protection option under the “Admin Functions” menu which was the biggest change since 7.9.0.
Thanks for the update.
I asked because I’m used to seeing changelogs in other software for every single dot release.
Helps us as users to make use of every new feature as it’s released.
Otherwise we might not notice that something really useful was introduced into the software weeks or months ago and we haven’t had a chance to use it.
