Cool, thanks for considering it. It would help my site a lot, and Im sure it would make a great selling point for the plugin as well.

If you do do it, I will be more than happy to add it and do live site testing and feedback for you.

    Hi Amin

In that case here are my ideas:

    PROBLEM 1:

If someone is giving me their download to sell for them they usually want a high % of the sale price, usually around 90%.

So if I set it at 90% for their commission level, and link it to their product in estore, thats cool. Problem comes if that revshare person also refers other sales of other products – ie – they will then get 90% on sales of other products, not just their own revshare product.

The messy way around it, is, as I am doing now, to tell revshare people to open a second account if they want to refer people generally.

    So my first idea is:

Add a new form field for revshare percentage.

You can then add seperate commission % and revshare %. When that person refers a sale that is not a product they are linked to by revshare, the script simply applies their standard %. If its a sale of the revshare product, they get the revshare %.

    PROBLEM 2:

If that persons revshare product sale is referred by another affiliate, I have to pay them the commission. So if I am paying the revhare person 90%, the most I can offer other affiliates is 10%, otherwise I am paying them from my own money!

So my second idea is for the script to simply check if the sale of the revshare product has been referred by another affiliate or not.

If not, then the revshare person gets the % in their revshare field.

If yes, then they get the % in their revshare field MINUS the commission in the referring persons account.

    Example:

Revshare for a product is 90%.

Sale is referred by another member whose commission % is set at 30%.

Script sees that another affiliate referred sale, and minuses 30% from 90%, crediting the affiliate with 30% for their referral, and the revshare person with 60%.

Ie – the revshare person is paying affiliates themselves, rather than it eating into my margin.

What do you think? Both of these would dramatically improve the power of the plugin as it would then be able to run a full revshare site.

    Thanks

    Jason

Hmm, interesting. A couple of others have been paid and their memberships are still showing as active.

Im confused as to why some seem to update but this one hasn’t. A couple of people also cancelled through paypal, and that was updated by the plugin, and the option “No Expiry or Until Cancelled” was not ticked.

So how come its tracking changes at paypal if I need to check that tickbox?

PS. there is another issue with using the W3 caching plugin with emember as well. When you click on “logout” it continues to show the member as logged in, even though they actually are not….

    Hi

I am still getting a session error. I totally removed the plugin, I tried clearing its cache and browser cache. I even deactivated all plugins apart from estore and I am still getting the error :-(

Cart works in IE, Chrome and Safari, its just not working in FF (latest build) under any circumstances now.

Are you still having this issue SRS, or have you found the conflict/problem?

I am and I have tried absolutely everything in terms of deactivatin plugins and themes etc, my posts, categories and comments load in member protection, but pages simply will not. I have emailed Ivy with an update on what I have tried so far.

    Hi

I think it uses roles, but it says to change them, does that sound ok:

Can I use WordPress Help Desk with my existing blog subscribers?

Yes. From the Dashboard select all of your subscriber Users and then select “Customer” on the “Change role to” drop down menu. Click “Change”. Now all your subscriber users role will be changed to Customer. That will allow them access to WordPress Help Desk.

Ok, I think I have sussed it, and its a it more complex than I realised. It appears rather than having the all products short code on the products page, I need to categorize products and then paste individual category shortcodes I want to display on that page.

    So, its solved.

Thinking about it, this also means any download products I want to give to members only via a link on a protected page will also appear on the products page??
