Hi Peter
That doesn’t sound right to me. If the transaction did not appear in the paypal recurring payments section until the next billing cycle, how could someone cancel it? Also I did some test payments with a billing cycle set in estore of every 1 day for that product.
Looking at My Account>History>More Filters>Subscriptions> in paypal, nothing is listed.
So it seems estore is not creating a paypal subscription properly. Another clue is that during passback after a test transaction, I can enter in estore some text for the button displayed in paypal. That button does not show up in paypal when I do a test transaction. So it seems to me that not everything is being passed to paypal that should be, even though the error logs claim it is.
I just cannot understand why there are so many difficulties with trying to set up emember/estore on what is, apart from those plugins, a fresh install of wordpress.
jazboMemberAh! Thank you! *facepalm*
Just did a test transaction and it worked on passback.
jazboMemberjazboMemberAfter much messing around I unticked the use wordpress mail option and it is now sending out the emails.
So that’s one problem solved.
The second problem still exists though. On passback from paypal I am seeing the shortcode rather than the message/link it should be showing.
One thing I have noticed, which may or may not be related is that even though I have specified text in the “Customize the Return Button Text” field, that text is not shown during the return from paypal.
PDT is on, token is in estore, auto return is on and show trans results is ticked.
I am determined to get emember/estore working (I have deleted all files and reinstalled th plugins plus wordpress and am using default theme with no other plugins, so nothing else can possibly be conflicting)!
jazboMemberVanessa, how about you start your own thread rather than gate-crashing mine?

All looks like its working to me. Yet no email for a non-registered person buying, but an existing member gets an email telling them their account was upraded!
Regarding the shortcode showing rather than the transaction results/links. I already did everything in that linked page. PDT is on, token is in estore, auto return is on
and show trans results is ticked.
Help!
jazboMemberYou could use buddypress. Tick so that an emember member is also a wordpress user and they can then access the buddyress features once logged in.
jazboMemberHi thanks for the replies. They don’t answer my question though unfortunately.
I want members to join free. I also want to offer premium content to a paid level. When someone stops paying I want them to auto revert to the free membership. So I have ticked the “Enable the ability to assign multiple membership levels per user” tickbox.
This means that I cannot hide the upgrade estore button in their members homepage using a shortcode because it appears that a premimum member is also still a free member, so can see the content.
How can I hide the upgrade button from someone who has upraded if I am using the revert to lower membership level option??
jazboMemberThat would work but not the way I have it set-up.
I have set up a free membership. Everyone can join free, and then upgrade. But if someone upgrades and then it expires I want them to revert to free membership, so I have set the “Enable the ability to assign multiple membership levels per user” tickbox.
jazboMemberThanks guys, that seems to work. Odd that the widget worked with quick cache until I upgraded though.
Could I ask about the PS from my last post:
PS – I upgraded because I wanted to use the latest products shortcode, but its not in the shortcode pdf, nor can I find it searching your site, or via google. What is the shortcode please?
Thanks.
jazboMemberHi
Yes the problems with the cart stop on deactivating quick cache. In quick cache I can “enter Don’t Cache These URI Patterns” such as wp-login for example. What could I enter to stop it caching the store pages?
Thanks

jazboMemberThanks for the replies. I have upgraded and now have issues.
My main stoe page is:
1. The cart now shows as empty on the main store page, even when I have added a product and clicked “continue shopping” in the cart.
2. If I delete an item from the cart, and then add another, the original item is still there. I can delete an item several times and yet it still appears.
If I log into wordpress, the cart appears on the main shopping URL and things get deleted, so it appears to perhaps be a caching issue, although the cache program worked before the upgrade. And I dont understand why the cache would show a cart widget on all pages apart from the main store URL? I am using quick cache.
Thanks
Jason
jazboMemberThank you! Everything working fine after the change.
jazboMemberHi
Sorry to ask another question. I see the new revshare field in the product settings. But nothing referring to the second thing discussed above about the linked revshare member having the affiliate commission auto-deducted. Before I test to find out, can you tell me if that bit is now in there?
Thanks
Jason
jazboMemberWow, thanks Amin, great news and great service.
jazboMemberOk thanks for the update. I have been searching for alternatives that do what we discussed in terms of revshare, and it does not seem to exist, so it would be a pretty unique USP for your plugin
