Thank you…got it working. the only thing left to fix is the “Download Icon” at the moment it is coming up X. When Ivy did my other website it had a nice download menu bar but I cant see how she got it into the php code.

any suggestions?

However it is not the code…it is because I am using a text box, because there is no php widget box to drag over the the RHS into the widget section.

that is what I am missing! On http://www.freedomtobe.com.au there is this Widget PHP Code box

in which to put the code into…on http://www.janmarie.com. I dont know HOW to get that bit – it did not appear after I activated the plug in.

I downloaded the plugin and activated it. However is there something I am missing?

I am not able to get the plugin to display in the spot where you grab it to move to the LHS and open as a PHP widget box where I can place the code into it.

Hi Ivy,

Last year you added a PHP subscribe box to http://www.freedomtobe.com.au. I had deactived it whilst doing some change overs and re installed it again today with a new download and everything is working prefectly. got rid of that dreadful google chrome

However I have done a cut and paste of the php code (which is exactly the same here on this thread)except for the number of the item… and put it into http://www.janmarie.com.au and it is not working.. the fields do not come up?

I remember when you were doing http://www.freedomtobe.com.au there were some issues. I use an artisteer theme – is there some reason that the php code does not work with this theme?

Hi folks

Scrap all that I have posted. I have had to download chrome again…deleting it totally stuffed up all my incoming links.

so it is back so HOW do I make the changes in the browser that I need to make it work properly please.

At least this time it fixed the problem that when you clicked ok that the link was coming it sort of freezed the webpage and parts of it were missing….so that is good news it is all okay on that bit….just the page that opens with the ebook needs fixing

It is also up to its old tricks where it does not download to my pc but stayes up in gmail

If I take that link and put it into the browser and click on it – it does open to what the ebook…but this is messy and not HOW it used to work

Yes I do. I want to do a competition…each sale = the number of the draw. IE: We will use 1 – 1,000 and then when that is complete we will go back to the beginning. We want a simple numbering system….not a paypal one which is very long – too hard for us to keep track of.

Hi there

I finally got it to work. I found an old post from Ivy giving the client a piece of code so the Registration box would state WHICH membership level it was.

THAT WAS ALL I NEEDED….so where in your tutorials do you mention this. I did not see it anywhere and it was the one thing I needed to make this plug in work for me. I have just spent weeks trying to get this thing to work, making a proper mess as I changed this and that trying to get it to work…then not knowing what I began with.

Perhaps this is something you need to make very clear.

I agree with Manny I am in a mess with this plug in. I am back and forth between your tutorials and my site and making absolutely no progress. It is frustrating and a horrific waste of my valuable time. I have already paid for this to be set up – but still do not have a membership site that is working – if I want to give everything away free that works..but you know what I dont. I want to have free and I want Gold where only those members can get the downloads. When I set up protect content -NO ONE can get in even me. So I untick it and that means anyone can access it?????

I am happy to pay for someone to get this thing working and get this monkey off my back. When I paid for the setup I had already installed it -I just wanted the thing to work.

Perhaps you could offer a more customized setup support that we could purchase.

Ok…right now I want to know – CAN I CUSTOMISE THE REGISTRATION BOX. In other words can I take our the word FREE and put in GOLD. If so HOW what is the code [wp_eMember_registration_form:end] that makes that ONE BIT work the way I want it to?

From that maybe I can work out this plug in and get back to my own work.

A subscriber opt-in on the website. Where people visiting email addresses are captured via a free offer.

At this point I can change because the subscribe list is small enough.

HOWEVER, if the subscribe plug-in already on my site can be used on my fan page on Facebook I can use that.

Bottom line. I have no idea HOW Ivy set it up in the first place. http://www.freedomtobe.com.au

I do not know HOW to create one on my other site http://www.janmarie.com.au

I need to know HOW to do this myself. I have both the eStore and Affiliate plugins
