You’re right, it’s theme related — changing themes fixed it. I can’t see anything in the CSS that’s causing this to happen, which is frustrating.
We got this message on a refund transaction:
The post payment verification for a payment failed. This could happen for one of the following reasons:
1. The fund for the payment have not cleared in PayPal yet (no need to do anything as the digital product will be delivered once the fund clears).
2. Someone maybe trying to scam a purchase! (no worries… WP eStore got your back

Is there any action that needs to be taken? On our PayPal account, our refund to the customer is pending, but I believe that’s normal.
I’d like to do the same thing, but the current version of eMember doesn’t have an eMember_misc.php file. Has this been moved or renamed?
Aha, the trick was to turn off display of the email field on the user profile page in Pages/Forms settings.
Yes, I’d like to force address collection for each checkout regardless if the item is digital or physical. The Shipping=$0.001 workaround works, but I’d rather not have to use it.
The site is wp.friendsjournal.org — I was using Style 1, which wasn’t working well. I just switched to Style 2, which works much better with the site. Thanks for suggesting changing the fanciness setting!
