eMember – first click free message showing in excerpts on home page

I have experimented with the “First Click Free message” feature, but after working correctly for awhile, it started displaying the message in the excerpts of posts displayed on the home page — ones that were not even protected. This happened when I cleared my cache and typed the site address directly into the URL bar (not via a google link). I’ve had to disable the custom “First Click Free” message for now.

Which theme are you using?

I am using the Canvas theme from Woothemes.

We have enhanced the first click free message condition so it only shows the message on single post view and if the post is fully protected. I think this should solve the issue you were seeing. Please get a new build of eMember now and check it out:
