So are you saying that if it is not unchecked, your plug-in is supposed to specify whether or not PayPal profile shipping should be used? If that is what you are saying, either something is wrong in my settings or in your plug-in because as I explained it does not work properly when there was only one item in the shopping cart. I’d much prefer to solve the real problem then to use a workaround that forces PayPal to always use profile shipping. Can you work with me to get this figured out?
December 23, 2014 at 3:45 pm in reply to: eStore – PayPal profile based shipping not working properly #67589EricwinMemberWhile I was waiting to hear back from you, I found the following discussion you had with another user who reported a very similar problem:
I found the option you referred to in the PayPal shipping methods and unchecking it appears to have fixed my problem.
I presume I need to uncheck that option for all of the other shipping methods I have defined as well, correct?
December 23, 2014 at 9:34 am in reply to: eStore – PayPal profile based shipping not working properly #67588EricwinMemberSo I just tried adding 2 books to the cart and it worked fine for me too. Please try adding only one book and you will see that the Paypal profile shipping is not being triggered.

October 31, 2014 at 3:02 pm in reply to: eStore – Buy Now not including PayPal Profile Shipping #66457EricwinMemberOK, here you go. I created a page and the only thing I included on this page (outside of the header, footer & sidebar) is the following shortcode:
[wp_eStore_buy_now_custom_button id=2 button=http://www.drkarenruskin.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/buy-now-button.png]
Here is the URL of the test page:
You will see that when you add the “Marriage Manual” book to the cart from the purchase books page [http://www.drkarenruskin.com/purchase-books/] and then checkout, PayPal profile shipping is added but when you click the buy now button for that same book on the test page Papal profile shipping is not added. At least that has been my experience.
Please let me know if the problem is on my end or if it is something in your plugin and of course, how I can fix this.
Thanks!!
Eric
October 31, 2014 at 1:09 am in reply to: eStore – Buy Now not including PayPal Profile Shipping #66455EricwinMemberI am using version 7.1.6
You can see the add to cart buttons that are working as expected on the following page: [http://www.drkarenruskin.com/purchase-books/]
Right now, I’m using a custom buy now button that I manually created through PayPal (it doesn’t use any of the eStore shortcodes). It is working as expected but I’d prefer to be using one of your shortcodes. Here is the link to the page: [http://www.drkarenruskin.com/purchase-books/dr-karens-marriage-manual/]
If you need to see what happens when I use an eStore shortcode for the buy now button, I will need to either create a temporary page or coordinate with you to temporarily switch the button on the live page.
