Hello.

I have a similar problem: the transaction goes through, all the emails are sent as expected but customers are not added to the customer database.

The debug log is copied below. I can see the failure is listed but am not sure how to fix it.

I’ve also looked at the eStore Post Payment debug. Everything was a success.

I’ve checked the paypal IPN setting. It was off so I’ve switched it on and entered my website’s URL (ellatamari.com) as paypal insisted I provide a URL.

Me again. I found the manual checkout feature. Not sure how I missed it before… .

If I understand correctly when someone walks in with cash I follow Manual Option Number 1 from here:

to make a Gift Voucher purchase.

I tried to find the “WP eStore’s manual checkout feature” to see if that will solve the issue but could not find it in Settings. I am assuming I ‘just’ developed a blind spot and therefore can’t find it. If the “WP eStore’s manual checkout feature” is the solution, I would appreciate it if you tell me where it is. Sorry. Not sure why I can’t find it myself. All I can say is that I really appreciate your great customer support. Absolutely second to none!

Sounds like I made something simple too complicated. Would appreciate your advice so I don’t continue over complicating things in the future.

I offer gift vouchers. I assumed everybody would buy them online but it seems quite a few people are intending to buy them in person. I’ve sold a gift voucher through a cash transaction yesterday.

In order to give the person the gift voucher I generated a gift voucher for £1 which I printed and gave my client. My intention was to edit the gift voucher’s value. I should have checked it was possible before…

So I guess the actual question is how do I create a gift voucher for cash transactions.

I am referring to a discount/coupon code feature. So one could book two places for the prices of one. I am looking for a function that will enable me to discount only the second item.

If three places were booked at the same time, only one of those will be free.
