Hello, I have issued a gift voucher but now need to change the value and product number associated with the gift voucher. These two fields are currently blocked for post-issue editing. Anyway I can override that?

In a “real business” (like Amazon), the existing voucher would be invalidated and a new one issued. Is this something you are able to do?
Sounds like I made something simple too complicated. Would appreciate your advice so I don’t continue over complicating things in the future.
I offer gift vouchers. I assumed everybody would buy them online but it seems quite a few people are intending to buy them in person. I’ve sold a gift voucher through a cash transaction yesterday.
In order to give the person the gift voucher I generated a gift voucher for £1 which I printed and gave my client. My intention was to edit the gift voucher’s value. I should have checked it was possible before…
So I guess the actual question is how do I create a gift voucher for cash transactions.

You want to manually create a voucher, to give to a person, who walked in off the street, and is essentially making an “offline manual purchase?”

I tried to find the “WP eStore’s manual checkout feature” to see if that will solve the issue but could not find it in Settings.
